I actually emailed Laura Ashley the other day about the description of one of their skirts, it said 'In a stunning shade of blue with unattractive satin sheen' - I gently suggested that I thought it ought to say 'an attractive satin sheen'.

well I do have tummy but it is rather a small issue next to the Arse and Norks so I don't worry about it much

HC how peculiar I have been looking for the exact same thing for about a month

I even went to Debenhams and got the personal shoppers to look for me, but no dice

they have on in H+M but it looked terrible on me - just above the knee and very unflattering shape

I looked in H&M but couldn't find anything I liked
I did find a grey one but it looked like it might be cut baaaaaaaadly and of course no chance to try on.

we have more or less cancelled it actually because

a) our babysitter says she doesn't want to be late as is school night

b) ds says "I don't want X to put me to bed I only want mummy for ever and ever blah blah blah blah"

and most importantly c) we can't find anything we want to do

Matalan do a cord skirt in brown - they have the same one in deep purple, which I have
Very comfortable, washes nice - can't remember how much, but not terribly expensive

M & S have a good few - if you go on their website you can do a search for brown skirts, which brought a few pages up

the m+s one is quite nice but I think you want chocolate brown cord don't you? I know I do anyway
