small hi-jack - what are whitestuff sizes like? I've never bought any before but as dh is away for the weekend I feel a saturday evening spree coming on...I'm basically about a size 9.

FrannyandZooey · 03/11/2007 21:11

no

I think you should forget brown cord and get orange silk

that is what I am trying to convey here

moondog · 03/11/2007 21:11

Am not getting my head around 'brown' 'kneelength' and 'nice skirt' occupying same sentence.....

southeastastra · 03/11/2007 21:13

next

i'm surprised button skirts are making a comeback

harpsichordsgoingbangandwoosh · 03/11/2007 21:13

yes well brown cord skirt will compliment rest of wardrobe and open up outfit opportunities
orange silk skirt will require entire new wardrobe

also shoes
bag
and coat
possibly new car
do you see where I am going here

moondog, I already have one lovely knee length brown skirt but have horrible bleachy mark on it I think it was diesel

FrannyandZooey · 03/11/2007 21:14

oh get a brown marker pen and colour over the bleach mark

ta daaa

FrannyandZooey · 03/11/2007 21:14

I have the right skirt, in black

it is knee length and cute and flippy. I want one in brown, and possibly purple as well

harpsichordsgoingbangandwoosh · 03/11/2007 21:15

I was thinking of that

is that next one a tad long and frumpy? it is a good price though abd we do have a next so I could whizz in and try on

moondog · 03/11/2007 21:16

Tis shin length though.
I may well wear it to work tomorrow.

harpsichordsgoingbangandwoosh · 03/11/2007 21:16

make one?

hatwoman · 03/11/2007 21:19

I have to defend the brown skirt. I have a jigsaw one - standard three tiers cotton/linen mix jobby (and no, it's not a ra-ra skirt) just below the knee and it has been worth it's weight in gold. worn with flip flops for casual summer, with strappy heels for smart, with boots in winter, worn with elegant bodeny/jigsawry tops for work, with vest-tops, with cardigans, with beige, with brown, with blue, with pink. it has been the dog's bollocks. so I think harpsi is seeking that thing that I think has a name - a very important bit of your wardrobe that works with everything and lasts for years. she is a wise woman.

JackieNo · 03/11/2007 21:19

(had thought of this one but out of stock).

hatwoman · 03/11/2007 21:19
