I’m so sick of wasting money on crap that does nothing! My skin is not the best i still want to take care of it and would prefer not to waste money on lots of cheap bits for them to be thrown away. Any cheap buys that you think are amazing for skin care particularly moistures? Thanks in advance Grin

@BusterGonad a PP mentioned Childs Farms and l see you said you have psoriasis as l myself do, l found it absolutely incredible in clearing it up.

I always recommend it to anybody who mentions they have psoriasis.

You need to look at ingredients and decide what you want for your skin.

I am oily and acne prone with some PIH. I use a gentle cleanser in the morning or just splash with water, a Vitamin C serum (great anti-oxidant) and an SPF. The SPF is your most important tool when it comes to helping prevent any further sun damage.

In the evening, I wash my face twice, then apply a tretinoin cream, followed by FAB ultra repair cream. It’s great, fairly cheap for a small tube but contains colloidal oatmeal (soothing and anti-inflammatory), shea butter and ceramides (fatty lipids naturally found in the skin). I think it’s about £12 but you can often find it on offer. Shea butter can cause breakouts for some but I manage ok with it.

Neutrogena is a good brand, I use UFO foreo for red led treatment, no longer spend on high end moisturizer since I started.

I use the white tub of nivea for everyday and the blue tin of nívea for night time or if my skin is really dry. Love them both!

Nivea So Soft - I have been using this for about 2 years and it's been better than many high end creams I've used in the past. Often bought in Home Bargains for about £1.20. Large tubs are great for body as well

@redferrari

Really pleased with the Waitrose pure day cream, it's only £3.
I like their cooking eye gel. Not stinging at all and no fragrance
