Is anyone else having problems with Uniqlo?

I don’t understand it. Uniqlo have always been really reliable and now all of a sudden they’re not processing orders and their customer service has vanished into thin air? Is anyone else having issues with them? I’m waiting on 3 orders which are all still ‘processing’ and have been waiting 40 minutes now for customer services chat! This can’t just be to do with COVID, surely?

Maersk spokesman on You and Yours now. There is a huge shipping problem at the moment, I really think lots of their stock is caught up in that.

It would really help if they would answer customer emails and tell us that!

I had no acknowledgement email, and queried this via the website - got a holding reply and now the target response time has passed with no word from them.

Why don't companies get that the lack of response is a huge part of the problem? Many of us will be quite happy if only we knew what was going on.

Do they want to
a) lose one order now from a customer who might cancel order (to buy elsewhere, more likely to turn up in time for Christmas), or
b) lose that customer (and all future orders) because they felt shoddily treated and didnt know whether there was any hope of presents arrived bing in time, when there was still time to do something about it?

Plus effect of threads like this. Perhaps they have many very happy cutmers, whose emails they have answered and whose orders have arrived promptly with the customer able to understand what is going on throughout the princess. But all I'm getting is silence, and I think that's shoddy

Mine has finally arrived. Cashmere sweater and a thermal top. All good except for the fact that the package was ripped open and the thermal top was wet though otherwise surprisingly unscathed. Not sure if that is uniqlo issue or Hermes.

Around 20 November I think. I wanted to get some loungewear from them but I don't need the jeopardy.

Mine's arrived! About an hour after the email apologising for the delays and that they'd email me when it was despatched Grin. Just relieved I can still order from them.

No update.

I've asked a second time, but they've answered neither email (though the target response time has passed for both)

I've bought other items now, so it won't matter if it doesn't turn up

But the utter absence of communication from them has lost them a customer. Pity - I've bought so much in actual shops, and thought online would be good. It's anything but.

I got the email too but no further communication. I bought a duplicate jumper for my DF from M&S so he may end up with two navy cashmere jumpers!

I ordered a scarf from Uniqlo on Sunday evening and it arrived today.

I was worried this morning when I realised I had never received an order confirmation. And I checked out as a guest so I couldn’t follow up the order.

I've done a return and my new order turned up today. I am missing an item but don't have the refund email I had last time.

Just got my order, two weeks after placing it. Did not get an order confirmation either. Still waiting for my refund 3 weeks later but I will wait.
On the plus side, the cashmere sweater I ordered is v soft and seems good value for money.

No answer to my email about WTF is going on

But order dispatched email has appeared, as has one from Hermes (my least favourite delivery company)

So perhaps it'll turn up (won't believe it until it's here, seeing what they did toma different previous order)

It's 10 days since I placed the order
