Is anyone else having problems with Uniqlo?

I don’t understand it. Uniqlo have always been really reliable and now all of a sudden they’re not processing orders and their customer service has vanished into thin air? Is anyone else having issues with them? I’m waiting on 3 orders which are all still ‘processing’ and have been waiting 40 minutes now for customer services chat! This can’t just be to do with COVID, surely?

I must have been lucky. I ordered a children’s coat about 3 weeks ago and it came within 24 hours

Aargh - I've just made my first Uniqlo order

I was surprised not to get a confirmation email (is that normal?) but the order exists on the 'track' function on the website and it says "processing" - is that a bad sign?

I ordered a few things on the 27th November and it took them just over a week to dispatch it, but it arrived quickly once they did (today!).

Not ordered anything recently, but I have had problems with them in the past. Really bad customer service. I couldn't get hold of anyone. I actually swore I'd only shop in person there afterwards, but then changed my mind and actually they were pretty good. Shame if they've gone downhill again.

I will never use them again after they didn’t refund me for 2 items I returned- and had proof of postage / sent bank statements to say hadn’t been refunded etc - they just completely ignored me in the end. Dreadful company.

Still waiting on a refund but it’s still within the 15 days it says it can take up to. I’ve got two orders pending, ones been 8 days now with no sign of when it will be dispatched. Hopefully it’s soon!!

@500BusStops I’ve just noticed there’s no tracking info on my return. Hopefully it’s got there but with myhermes you never know!

I’m not happy either. A few weeks ago I ordered 3 tops which Uniqlo’s portal said were not returnable as apparently they counted as underwear (long sleeved heat-tech tops that you would wear over a bra). It turned out that if you accessed the Uniqlo website on a computer it flagged up that these particular tops were not returnable but if you accessed the same page by phone (as I had) it said the tops were returnable in the normal way! Despite me sending Uniqlo screenshots to prove that the mobile version of their website said the tops were returnable they stopped contacting me so I’m stuck with them!

Sorry to hear this. I've had two Uniqlo hoodies in the last couple of months which arrived very quickly with no problems but it sounds as though I was just really lucky. Really poor that everyone's having bad experiences - I hope they resolve soon.

Sigh. I am building up a winter wardrobe and have ordered a ton of stuff from them. Have got some of it, but a lot is still being processed and I am waiting on a refund. Will just go into stores from now on.

I ordered a coat 4 weeks ago. It took forever to be shipped and then got lost (?) in the mail. Now I'm waiting for the refund. They never contacted me, I had to chase them on chat. It was a +J coat and I'm really disappointed.

No problems with my order arriving, but I bought some more heattech vests a few weeks ago and they are nowhere near the quality of the ones I bought several years ago.

They've gone a bit fluffy and are looking rubbish already, whereas the ones I've had for years were seemingly indestructable (I only bought the new ones as I wanted more rather than to replace!).

Me too!!! Placed in order a week last Sunday, heard nothing so contacted them four days later.

Had a response two days later saying they were experiencing a high volume of orders and to wait 2 days for another update.

Had an email today to say my order has been dispatched, it'll be over two weeks by the time I get my stuff - I've had better service from them it must be said.....

They've always taken ages to refund, tbf (to them). I love Uniqlo and they were always fine about refunds despite me often being over the 30 day period. They extended the returns period to 6 months at start of lockdown and I hadn't checked they'd reverted back to normal times. And now they've stopped including the returns label in the bag and the computer told me I was out of time when I tried to get away with it print a label Shock. I'll always be loyal though as I simply don't know where else to get clothes from Grin.

I've never had any problems with them before now. I ordered 4 items recently and one turned up. Then I had an email informing me of a refund, but not of which of the remaining items were refunded. Then, the final item arrived. The refunded things are still available on the website, so I've no idea why they just gave me my money back!

I'm glad to hear it's not just me. Last month I got a parcel with two items missing but did receive a bonus pair of extra small jeggings instead, which I most definitely did not order (they were so tiny I wouldn't have got them over my knees). It was a real pain trying to get someone to sort it out - I had to fill in forms, take pictures, send emails back and forth answering one question after another while they investigated. I finally got an email saying they'd made a mistake in the warehouse and I'd be refunded within 3-5 days.
That was five days ago and I'm still waiting. I've had some lovely clothes in the past but I'll never buy online from them again. I just don't have time to deal with this sort of thing!

I've just checked this morning and my pending payment has disappeared too. Still says my order is processing but we will see. They are mainly Christmas presents so I might have to actually brave the shop...sigh

I'm in the same position! Ordered two cashmere jumpers on 3rd Dec. Payment was initially 'pending' on my online banking app, but has now disappeared. No communication from Uniqlo. They are now out of stock online so I assume they've cancelled my order too? I've never known such a bad service ordering online!

This is a depressing thread, and I really wish I had read it before I ordered some heat tech stuff on Monday. Looks like I am in for a long cold wait.......
