What is your very favourite hand cream?

I'm looking for something for my horrible dry winter hands, made worse by all the hand washing. Bonus points if it also smells gorgeous (no particular skin sensitivity)! I don't mind spending a bit if it actually works Grin

Clarins hand and nail treatment

RaininSummer · 02/11/2020 19:10

I am loving Dr Organic right now.

RainBow725 · 02/11/2020 19:12

Another vote for Neals Yard. They do a few. All smell amazing and are really good hand creams. Expensive but a little goes a long way.

2Kidsinatrenchcoat · 02/11/2020 19:26

Weleda skin food (they do a ‘light’ version now which isn’t as thick as the original) and if I get any particularly sore dry bits or cuts I put lanolin on them

Binglebong · 02/11/2020 22:48

Garnier 7 day intensive. De ages my hands by about 10 years and soaks in fast.

If your hands are painfully bad get some epiderm cream from the chemist. A friend with bleeding cracks and dryness says it's the only thing that helps. Smells a bit medical though.

Nannyamc · 02/11/2020 22:51

Clarins..unscented but fantasic quick solution

augustusglupe · 02/11/2020 22:55

Clarins super restorative

DramaAlpaca · 02/11/2020 22:57

Neutrogena because it's unscented so it doesn't make me itch, and because it works.

Rosere · 02/11/2020 23:34

Clarins Creme Jeunesse des Mains or LOccitane Cherry Blossom. That is it. I find the rest too greasy and wet. It took years to find these two.

malificent7 · 02/11/2020 23:59

I vote for Palmer's cocoa butter

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 03/11/2020 00:06

Neutrogena or BS hemp for me. I have a tube of one or the other in the living room, next to my laptop, and in the bathroom to try and remember hi do it after every hand wash. My hands are actually disgusting at the moment, I keep forgetting gloves when I go out.

madeleinetheragdoll · 03/11/2020 06:37

Nursem is so nice and they donate a tube to a nurse for everyone purchased. Available at Boots and other stores.

KaptainKaveman · 03/11/2020 06:43

I have been using the sanctuary foot balm on my hands! it's cheap and really effective, smells great too. All that hand washing and sanitising wrecks your hands!

bebarkered · 06/11/2020 06:23

L'occitane Shea Butter or Body Shop Hemp

LunaTheCat · 06/11/2020 06:40

Jurlique rose. Love it but very expensive.

ChessieFL · 06/11/2020 06:42

Love l’occitane hand creams, lots of lovely scents.

ThomasHardyPerennial · 06/11/2020 06:59

Nursem smells lovely, I like that you can buy a big pump bottle of it.

bellagogosdead · 06/11/2020 07:07

I like la roche posay, it doesnt smell at all and soaks straight in, so I can do things after I have put some on.
I like the idea of nice smelling hand cream, but never end up using them because my hands end up too greasy to do anything.

Gobbledygook20 · 06/11/2020 13:21

Nivea creme in the blue pot. It isn't specifically for our hands but it is so cheap and very effective.

mizu · 06/11/2020 21:04

Neutrogena Visibly Renew and Astral

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 06/11/2020 21:09

Kiehls

Fleamaker123 · 06/11/2020 21:11

I like Atrixo, nice smell, not too heavy and greasy, and a big pot lasts ages. Cheap enough too. You don't need a lot and it's very effective. I put it on my hands before I go to bed. Sometimes on my neck too!

frankiefirstyear · 06/11/2020 21:12

Norwegian formula

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 06/11/2020 21:14

Neutrogena Norwegian formula, and the Avon glycerine one.

Crabtree and Evelyn feel and smell lovely, and they're my "everyday" creams, but the above are better for dry cracked hands.

thatone · 06/11/2020 21:16

Body Shop hemp is amazing
