Is Botox my only hope?

Or would retinol fix this? Horrified after seeing a pic of me in the sunlight today (cropped below) which looks dreadful. Any advice S&B?

Try using a very hydrating moisturiser in the morning and always apply sunblock on your face every 2 hours whether you are outside or not. UV is the cause of over 90% of skin aging.
At night I would really recommend using a snail sleeping pack to nourish the skin iver night.
I own a Korean skincare centre and I would recommend using Korean skincare products as I find they are much better than ones you find in most shops. Also Korean sun blocks do not have the greasy feeling that western ones do :)
Here are the products I use and would recommend:
Esfolio egg cleansing foam
All Esfolio sheet masks (esoecially the red ginseng one)
G9skin White in moisture cream
G9skin White in milk sun block
Purito Comfy Water sun block
Mizon snail sleeping pack
Elizavecca Green Piggy Collagen sleeping pack
I do not think you should use Botox.
Hope this helps :)

Thank you @loheekim I’ve looked at Korean skincare so many time but got totally confused/overwhelmed so that’s really useful

Yes, Botox. Then when you've had it use a hyaluronic spray, oil and retinol. You're dehydrated.

In fairness you're taking that photograph in bright sunlight, facing into the sun presubably after spending the day outside in the hot dazzling sun and possibly also feeling a bit dehydrated. You will probably find it looks a lot better after a day or so drinking lots of water and a long sleep.

If you were facing the sunlight (which you seem to be) its entirely possible that even with sunglasses on you were wrinkling your face up against the light as well. Even my son would have forehead creases in those conditions and hes 5!

My sis and parents have had Botox and I can't notice it at all

Here’s another one not in the sun etc, still v definite deep lines

I saw an article in the paper about this woman who drank 2-3 litres of water everyday for a month to see if it made a difference to her skin, she took before and after photos and the results were quite impressive.

OP, what is the needle size of your roller? This will determine how often you should use it, I've got a 0.25mm which I use a couple of times a week and a 0.5mm which I use once every two weeks, anything above 0.75mm should only be used once a month (or longer) it does hurt so don't go too hard!

AteAllTheAfterEights · 11/08/2020 10:05

It’s a 0.5mm

Oh I do hate the "I'm a 100 but have zero wrinkles brigade!"
I have never met one in real life and even if someone has no wrinkles (ala Nicole Kidman) they still don't look 25- she looks every day of her 50 odd years
Op they don't look bad at all but yes I would probably think botox is the only thing that will get rid of them
