Only one pair came near to comfy. They were cheapo ones from Brantano.

Every other pair I've tried have ripped the skin off my heels.

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 14:29

they do hurt dont they
am htinking leather lined £££ ones may do the trick

theres an odd llokign brown seude pari in next wiht a strap that look ok

OP posts:
themoon66 · 23/09/2007 14:30

ones with strap are better coz they stop the heels rubbing up and down.

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 14:31

I had some from La Redoute that were elasticated, like this pair (but in olive green) - v comfortable. Even though I don't have scrawny feet, I do suffer from shoes rubbing the backs of my heels.

themoon66 · 23/09/2007 14:34

The first ones are ok, but look a little bit odd due to presence of almost-wedge. Like the double strap thing though.

themoon66 · 23/09/2007 14:34

Second ones are nice.

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 14:34

am htinking the almpst wedge may be better

Have tried the elasticated type, but they were agony on the heels again.

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 14:35

they are often too wide for me

OP posts:
themoon66 · 23/09/2007 14:36

No no... the second pair are lovely.

themoon66 · 23/09/2007 14:36

Yes, i find they are mostly too wide... like a pair of barges on my feet. But then I'm VERY thin of foot.

Scanner · 23/09/2007 14:37

yep, M&S they do them in a variety of colours, mine are so fab that I must go and get another pair.

You sounded like me telling the dc's not to give up and find out how to do it, so felt the need to respond.

JackieNo · 23/09/2007 14:59

Yes - £65 is a bit steep, isn't it.

(well done Scanner - doing your first successful link is a MN milestone)
