Snag tights

Has anyone used snag tights. I really struggle getting tights that don't roll down but these ones seem to say they don't do that! Anyone have any words of wisdom as I don't want to pay out if they are rubbish!!

I can't really judge the tights on huge women or bloody men!

Kindlingwood · 07/06/2020 21:44

Love them so much. And the chub rub shorts too. Such good quality. Mine last for ages. And never roll down if you get the right size,

dobbyssoc · 07/06/2020 21:53

@Patsypie unfortunately not all of us are blessed with such thin bodies!

I love snag tights. They advertise that they are for everyone. At 5 foot 7 and a size 10-12 I am a size c in snag tights.

2020times · 07/06/2020 23:54

Yeah I love them. And I am so cheap - I always try to buy the cheapest of everything but I wouldn't buy anything except snag tights.

IndecentFeminist · 08/06/2020 06:32

They're just tights @Patsypie, what does the size of the wearer have to do with anything? If you like the colour, work out your size and job done. It's not haute couture.

mylittlesandwich · 08/06/2020 07:25

@Patsypie just wanted to be unpleasant. There are plenty of not fat female snag wearers. She's just upset that they took pictures of the fat people so other fat people could have an idea of how they would look and be confident they would fit. I have attached pictures of the not fat people for proof.

Are they as opaque as they look? The denier doesn't seem that high but they always look completely opaque on the models. Even the pink and yellow ones!

mylittlesandwich · 08/06/2020 07:47

I have 80 denier and they are completely opaque (just like I like them). They also do 50 denier and sheer which I think are 30.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 08/06/2020 08:07

Thanks @mylittlesandwich. I usually go for 120 denier from M&S but I've got weightlifter's thighs so Snag looked tempting. I also like to have them as opaque as possible.

ArfArfBarf · 08/06/2020 08:15

I bought 5 pairs based on reviews on here and every pair snagged on the first wear.

I think they have one of the best social media marketing teams though Wink

MoltoAgitato · 08/06/2020 08:18

Didn’t some threads on Snag tights get pulled last year because they were full of Snag shills?

I’ve got some, they’re all right. And what are they thinking using men to model them?

I wouldn’t believe everything about them on here, OP.

ChequerBoard · 08/06/2020 10:21

What denier are the tights that the posters who say they one last one wear are talking about?

I have many pairs of the opaque 80 and 50 denier Snags that I've washed and worn more times than I can remember. In fact I've only ever binned them because they become too big as I've lost a lot of weight in the last year and so have been going down the sizes.

weaselwords · 08/06/2020 10:30

I’ve got several pairs, as am tall and size 22 so hard to fit for tights and none have snagged at all. Had them for best part of a year and still going strong.

professionalnomad · 08/06/2020 10:51

I am also a fan and am slowly in the process of replacing all my tights with SNAG tights

SporadicNamechange · 08/06/2020 10:58

I found that the 80 denier ones all bobbled very quickly (I’ve never had tights that bobble like this before). And they snagged very easily.

I haven’t tried the 50 denier ones because I can’t imagine they’ll be any better.

notapizzaeater · 08/06/2020 11:05

I love my snAg tights, every other pair I've worn fall down I'm constantly hoping them up, wearing another pair of knickers over the top. These dint need that, they just work.

ArfArfBarf · 08/06/2020 11:12

I’ve just checked my email history... they were 80 Denier - Black and I ordered 5 pairs.

I’ve never had a problem with other tights (usually buy whatever is available at the supermarket).

Maybe the quality is very variable between batches?

I remember this too. Wish I’d screenshot the deletion message to post on future “Has anyone tried...” threads.

mylittlesandwich · 08/06/2020 11:34

I haven't had an issue with them either. It could maybe depend on size? Maybe the different sizes are made differently. It's 80 I go for too.

Now that I have googled shill. I very much hope I'm not one. I just like the tights.

DelphiniumBlue · 08/06/2020 17:21

I love Snag tights and have emailed them asking if they could do a footless tight range- I prefer to have cotton socks on my feet with boots or trainers.
If you'd buy footless tights from them, could you let them know?

MagnoliaJustice · 08/06/2020 18:57

I would definitely buy footless tights from them and also a longer version of chub shorts (like cropped leggings).
I'm not a shill either, I have bought, and I like, snag tights for all the reasons most of us like them.

mylittlesandwich · 08/06/2020 18:59

@DelphiniumBlue they were posting on Facebook comments this week that footless tights were on the way soon.

BeTheHokeyMan · 08/06/2020 19:07

I bought two pairs of black tights from them after reading about them here ages ago and I'm delighted with them. Was happy to find tights that catered towards larger ladies and actually fitted. I'm 5'10 and a size 22 . Will dig mine out and see what size I bought . They did take ages to arrive though

DelphiniumBlue · 09/06/2020 17:06

mylittlesandwich that sounds good!
