Snag tights

Has anyone used snag tights. I really struggle getting tights that don't roll down but these ones seem to say they don't do that! Anyone have any words of wisdom as I don't want to pay out if they are rubbish!!

Mine all snagged on the same day I wore them. Great name!

snappycamper · 06/06/2020 14:07

Best tights ever. I've thrown out all my other tights. Only have snag tights now.

I ordered a pair but wish I had gone down a size for the height. Still love them but will order a different size next time.

SauvignonBlanche · 06/06/2020 14:17

The 80 denier ones are good but I found the 50s snag at the toes on first wear which was a shame as I prefer the 50s but they’re too expensive for single use.

PatchworkElmer · 06/06/2020 14:18

I didn’t get on with them at all! Holes in the toes after one wear, and made all my work dresses really static. Such a shame- I wanted to love them 😔

flameprincess · 06/06/2020 14:24

Only tights I will wear, threw out all my other uncomfortable saggy crotch rejects. I was panicked when I saw their email about struggling with sales during covid as I couldn't bare wearing anything else - promptly bought 2 SOS vouchers!

SauvignonBlanche · 06/06/2020 14:26

It’s always the ones that go!

SauvignonBlanche · 06/06/2020 14:27

The toes that was meant to say. Blush

WhatWouldDominicDo · 06/06/2020 14:28

Chub rub shorts are fab.

MagnoliaJustice · 06/06/2020 14:30

I can't recommend them highly enough. I'm tall and even supermarket XL tights fall down. Snag tights never do. I bought 4 pairs of the shorts to wear under dresses when I went to South East Asia, and they were - and still are - the best items of underwear I own, and such fabulous colours too.

I was also sent a free pair of tights by them at the start of Covid-19, they sent them out to all NHS workers which was fantastically generous.

TheClitterati · 06/06/2020 14:32

I am a repeat customer and I'll probably never buy any other tights if I can avoid it. I love them

SauvignonBlanche · 06/06/2020 14:36

I applied for that as well, got excited when I say the email from them, thinking it was the code for the free pair but it was them asking me to donate to them through the 1-4-2 scheme so I guess their generosity back fired? Hmm

pinksmile · 06/06/2020 14:44

They are the best tights I've ever worn and after 15 years of trying to find decent pairs they are the only ones I'll buy now.

I get the thick ones, can't vouch for the super thin type ones. They don't say anywhere, they stay up, and they are so soft.

I also have the chub rub shorts and I've been wearing them everyday through summer. They're wonderful.

A shame to hear they are struggling, think ill buy a voucher too or I will be stuffed for winter tights!

Voxx · 06/06/2020 14:52

They’re nice but I’d expect them to be - they’re three times the price of my normal tights! I like them but I don’t think I’d buy them again. I don’t find it difficult to find tights that fit and I can’t justify the price for everyday wear.

cherrypiepie · 06/06/2020 16:26

When I first got them I was pretty underwhelmed but soon found that I would only wear the single pair of snags and the other 100 pairs sat abandoned in the drawer!

I have the 80 den black and 30 denier caramel sheer - robust for a busy active day at work. I sewed a coloured thread in so I could tell the back from front (avoid).

wheresmymojo · 06/06/2020 16:34

I'm another that love them. Have thrown away all other tights and won't buy any others from now on.

cherrypiepie · 06/06/2020 16:47

....To avoid getting bobbles where the boots rub!

ChipsyChopsy · 06/06/2020 16:55

I have the tights and the chub rub shorts. After a c section I just couldn't wear tights without them rolling down, so I ordered these and they are amazing. I would go as far as to say they are comfortable. I have no urgency to get my tights off like I used to pre kids!

mylittlesandwich · 06/06/2020 16:58

I'm a larger person and I think they are incredible. They're so comfy and I was so happy to find them. After having DS and a c-section all the others would roll down and drive me mad all day long.

CuntyBumpkin · 07/06/2020 19:13

I am the same as many other people here. I threw all of my other tights away.

Amazing customer service too. I recommend to everyone I know.

SporadicNamechange · 07/06/2020 19:25

I find they bobble easily, and snag too. And the small sizes aren’t small enough so they can be a bit baggy.

dobbyssoc · 07/06/2020 19:59

@SporadicNamechange I don't think I'll have an issue with too big! But interesting about the bobbles as this has been mentioned a few times now.

I ordered a pair yesterday so I will give them a go. It's worth a shot to have some where the crotch isn't by my knees!!!

SporadicNamechange · 07/06/2020 20:06

I think the sizing thing is a pretty good idea, @dobbyssoc. But it’s a bit annoying that the first size is A/B combined.

Patsypie · 07/06/2020 20:17

I've just looked at the website and the pictures are all grossly overweight women and a man ffs!

dobbyssoc · 07/06/2020 21:08

@Patsypie and the problem is??
