HI
I would like to buy some Arizona Birkenstocks. As they are unisex
would you buy narrow or normal width and what are the sizes like.
I am a 39 - size 6 and thinking of getting size 5.5/6.
Also are they comfy
Thanks

I used to soak them while wearing them, but not now, it's too cold to walk around in wet shoes till they dry in the UK. So I do the fluffy sock method with the last pair anyway.
I don't like the colour of my last pair, I thought I'd do something different for a change -stupid idea even though they fit I was going to the small shoe shop in the next town to buy nubuck Arizonas this summer. Thats now on hold.

I wear 2 sizes down. I have wide feet though and birks are absolutely ideal for me.

I've gone one size down and they are still big.

They're a lot more complicated than normal sandals! Hope all the effort is worth it. I'm breaking them in a bit more today and they're still painful around the arches.

I just can't get my head around the sizing down one or two sizes thing. I've worn them for 20 years and have never sized down.
I bought my first pair in a Birkenstock shop and they helped me with the fitting so I've always stuck with that.

I usually have to go a size up because I have wide feet.

The Birks are my normal size.
