I love Woolford tights, they last forever, but for the love of God I can't think of ANY occasion that I would want to wear these. I wonder why they're in the sale? (though still hideously overpriced).

I think they have been specifically made for social distancing because if you wear those no one is going to come near year Shock.

WhenItIsOver · 30/05/2020 10:48

They must be for people with puffy ankles (or Norah Batty) or very straight legs. Otherwise why? They are really weird. Am tempted to ask Wolford.

JaneJeffer · 30/05/2020 10:54

"Perfect choice to make heads turn" they got that right Grin

Lexilooo · 30/05/2020 11:34

If they weren't hold ups they might be a good idea for under maxi dresses or wide trousers. Like an underskirt that would also battle chub rub but these......nope

Megatron · 30/05/2020 11:42

"Perfect choice to make heads turn" they got that right.

@OneOfTheGrundys

Very Kardashian.
I was just thinking the only person tasteless enough to wear these is Kim Kardashian.
GigiLamour · 30/05/2020 11:45

Please, please tell me that these aren't going to become fashionable.

Megatron · 30/05/2020 12:00

I can just imagine the model think 'WTF' as she put them on.

"the perfect summer look" 😂

CovidicusRex · 30/05/2020 12:06

I don’t understand. It’s not like you could even make this work as fetish wear. They’re basically anti-tights

81Byerley · 30/05/2020 12:14

Hahahaha!

L0bstersLass · 30/05/2020 12:16

@MuthaClucker

I’m puzzled why you’re puzzled.

The website clearly states these are the perfect summer look. So come on guys, let’s go buy our summer tights, sorry, our looses

Grin Grin Grin
GladysNarracott · 30/05/2020 12:19

JaneJeffer · 30/05/2020 13:08

HaHaHa
Best laugh I've had for ages

Oliversmumsarmy · 30/05/2020 21:31

But aren’t mosquito nets suppose to have no place to get in

BSintolerant · 30/05/2020 21:43

@MrsJamin Grin Nora batty would be turning in her grave

They’d raise Compo from the dead too. I suppose if one of his ferrets tried to run up your leg it’d only get so far.

Hotcuppatea · 30/05/2020 21:54

Blimey! They know how to charge, don't they. How much?

GigiLamour · 30/05/2020 22:21

I think I know what's happened here. One of their factory machines went rogue and started knitting stockings that were 5 times as wide as they ought to be.

So, rather than waste the material, some canny soul is attempting to style it out by marketing the Frankenstockings as an entirely new type of garment.

If this doesn't work, they'll try touting them to the fishing or windsock industries.

Waste not, want not.

Mnthrowaway20202 · 30/05/2020 22:59

I’m early 20s. They remind me of these diamanté fishnet trousers that were trending a few months ago.

I reckon they could be styled in a similar way, eg oversized long white blazer and heels

Megatron · 30/05/2020 23:10

I don't think there's any styling could make these look good!

OP posts:
Mnthrowaway20202 · 30/05/2020 23:15

Yeah, I reckon they tried to jump on the hype of that trend and just miserably failed

WinWinnieTheWay · 30/05/2020 23:17

£40!!!!!!

Some people have too much money and too little brains. Imagine what £40 could do for a child drinking dirty mud water.

Raella50 · 30/05/2020 23:19
Shock
BSintolerant · 30/05/2020 23:26

@WinWinnieTheWay yeah, they’d work well as a water filter. Grin
