Will you recommend me your best ever body moisturiser please?

I’ve been using Vaseline intensive care for about 1 year but it seems to have made no difference at all! I exfoliate regularly but despite this, and despite regular use of the Vaseline, my skin still looks dry.

I like the Vaseline because it’s not greasy, but if the payback is no improvement in my skin, I’m going to have to try something else.

Please help :). And thank you.

E45 moisturising lotion works for me - the one in a pump dispenser, not the tube which is thicker - although good for very dry spots such as elbows and heels

Clarins Moisture-Rich Body Lotion is the only thing that works for me.

Juicyfrooty · 11/04/2020 18:49

Aveeno

Taddda · 11/04/2020 19:13

For what sort of skin? Is it just dry in general or do you have 'patches'?

I use what I use for my Dd's- Dermal 500 cream and an Oilatum bath- non perfumed and works wonders.

Dd2 has patches of occasional eczema- I use Lansinoh (lanolin) when these pop up and within a week its cleared- I also use on my feet in the summer. Magic stuff.

The Aveeno with sweet almond oil ..... smells gorgeous, isn't greasy and does seem to make a noticeable difference almost immediately.

Shmithecat2 · 11/04/2020 19:17

Facetheory's Glycomide body cream. Its amazing.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 11/04/2020 19:19

CeraVe lotion

Grabbner · 11/04/2020 19:36

Thank you for the suggestions. Aveeno is looking popular.

Taddda it’s pretty normal skin I think - no dry patches as such. But always looks a bit crepey.

It’s not glamorous but by gum it does the trick - Aveeno.

BizarreBizarre · 11/04/2020 19:42

I use soap and glory its fab

ritzbiscuits · 11/04/2020 19:43

Aveeno. I prefer it compared to my expensive Liz Earle moisturisers that I get for 'free' with my 3 step skincare. Their hand cream is excellent too.

La Roche Posay Lipikar

troppibambini · 11/04/2020 21:35

Baby oil (or any kind of oil) on damp skin it really works.

HelloDulling · 11/04/2020 21:37

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter, or, for a treat, Kiehl’s Creme de Corps.

Tajiri · 11/04/2020 21:37

Decleor.

frugalkitty · 11/04/2020 21:51

Aveeno with lavender for me, or the Nivea with Vitamin C (white bottle) or their 48 hour one (dark blue bottle).
