I’ve run out of my usual liz Earle a few weeks ago and just been using soap but my skin is getting awful

I’ve now seen the news about the liz Earle tribunal so thinking I’d be better trying another brand

Must not be tested on animal and must be available to buy online

Thanks everyone !

DH did the shop in Aldi this morning and picked me up their version of the Pixi toner but no stock of their cleanser.

I’ve ordered the Ren cleanser 👍🏻

Emma Hardie is gorgeous and a lovely treat. My absolute favourite. Too expensive for all the time for me, so use body shop camomile in between too

@XingMing I've been looking for a cleansing oil. Have ordered the DHC one. Thanks for recommending.

DysonFury · 10/04/2020 20:40

I have tried many from Emma hardie to Aldi and the game changer for me is B.Revealed Glycolic Cleansing Peel from Superdrug. Amazing stuff.

How do you do hot cloth cleansing?

Is it as simple as putting the cleanser on and then washing it off with a hot cloth?

OnTheEdgeOfTheNight · 10/04/2020 22:21

@Doobigetta there's really no need to be so rude. Lots of products warn about avoiding direct contact with the eyes - things like toothpaste that aren't used near the eye area. If the cleaner wasn't to be used near the eye area they'd say "avoid using near the eye area", not "acid direct contact with the eyes".

He's good honey & propolis

Bee good

Lyonsleaf beauty balm. They also sell tester pots for cheap so you can try a bit before you buy a big jar

Yes @MushroomTree - slap on whatever cleanser you’re using and then off with a Muslim or flannel in hot water. Some people do a double cleanse, ie: just repeat

MushroomTree · 11/04/2020 09:56

Excellent. Thank you @HermioneWeasley. I'll see if I can get hold of the Superdrug cleanser that seems so popular.

HermioneWeasley · 11/04/2020 16:52

That should say a muslin, not a Muslim

I've used both Superdrug ones- love the Vit E, hated the Radiant, smells synthetic to me and left my skin feeling scratchy.

Also love the Chamomile butter mentioned above and Boots Botanics cleansing balm.

LE still my favourite though.

cologne4711 · 12/04/2020 20:19

Another vote for the Superdrug vitamin E cleanser. I've used the naturally radiant, but was less keen and it's more expensive.

Hopefully the lockdown will be eased before I run out of it, I am on my last tube, but they are fortunately large.
