Are you still buying clothes online?

I went on the White Stuff website last night and they seem to have some amazing sale deals and be taking orders as normal. I nearly clicked but suddenly thought about all the workers in the supply chain and that they should really be staying at home. Are you still buying stuff online?

It hasn’t occurred to me to buy anything other than food. No one can see me so it doesn’t matter what I use or wear.

I ordered some lounge bottoms and a couple of cheap jumpers from oasis a fortnight ago and have basically lived in them since did two different orders as I loved the leggings when they came

I always prefer to shop in store, but I did order a few bits from Joules as they’re doing 40% off and their stuff fits nicely and lasts. I did feel guilty about those still working in the supply chain, but I work in retail and hope that people are still ordering from my employer and others if they can (as companies must be heamorraging money right now) so myself, friends and colleagues still have jobs to go back to.

Also, all I have to do now is walk dogs, and I feel that blouses and “naice” shoes that usually make up my wardrobe aren’t a good shout for walking 4 boisterous, habitually filthy spaniels! But for my own mind, I still need to put on a nice outfit - it’s the only “normal” I can hang on to 😥

I’m not working at the moment and DH runs a company making ads for big companies on social media so we are relying on people buying things to keep our family fed. He is a small company and we are not rich. It’s awful to think some people are not at home with their families but make yourselves feel better by buying things knowing you are still helping someone Wink

I'm not buying anything for myself but my DS is growing out of his clothes so I've had to buy the next size up. Used H&M because they've treated their staff well throughout this so far and it's what we can afford (would normally be a mix of Primark and Next) We've bought stuff through amazon too, had to buy for my niece's birthday. We don't need anything for a while now but it's my mum's birthday end of May so I will then.

I’ve bought one top that I’d seen a while ago and thought was too expensive, and I got for about 20% off. Generally I find the idea of buying stuff I’ll have no opportunity to wear a bit depressing, so I haven’t bothered. I don’t think you should feel bad if you do, though. If nobody does even more people will lose their livelihoods.

I ordered some tops and a pair of pumps/trainers, from Joules. I’ve not had anything from them before so I’ll see what the stuff is like. I wanted some casual tops, nothing fancy. Everything had 40% off and can be returned up to 365 days.
