Should curvier women wear white jeans?

I love pastel looks and I'm tired of wearing skinnier dark jeans to slim myself down. Would white jeans work or would I look humongous? I'm a size 14/16 and part of me thinks just go for it, the other part thinks forget it!

I think you should go for it, if you like them and they make you feel good then do it.

MrsGrindah · 15/03/2020 19:23

Absolutely! There are a few rules though ( that apply to everyone)
Check they are not see through
Check you have the right underwear
Check they are pristine white.

Other than that go for it!

MoltonSilver · 15/03/2020 19:23

Absolutely.

WanderingTrolley1 · 15/03/2020 19:24

Yes, absolutely they can!!

Eesha · 15/03/2020 19:26

@MrsGrindah so are you saying not too tight, and what underwear would work?

Elouera · 15/03/2020 19:26

I personally wouldn't. Not only because I'm a similar size they wouldn't be flattering at all one me, but more because I'd likely sit in something on a seat!!! There are many other pastel and paler colours other than black! If you feel comfortable though, go for it.

Happy0 · 15/03/2020 19:26

Absolutely

RJnomore1 · 15/03/2020 19:27

No one should wear white jeans.

Do you mean curvy or overweight?

I'm a 12/14 with chunky thighs and would look horrendous in white jeans.

That said, wear what you like, and follow MrsGrindah's rules.

Eesha · 15/03/2020 19:29

@Ginfordinner I'm pretty hourglassy but could be deluded!!!

I think they can look great on curvy women. I'm a 14/16 and I would wear them, except that personally I can't be doing with the laundry and general upkeep.

When I'm a billionaire and live on my yacht with a team of staff, I'll wear them Smile

Peacenquiet2 · 15/03/2020 19:33

Personally, I think this depends on whether you have smooth, cellulite free legs, or you would look like a giant orange stuffed there. I fall into the latter category, and am the same size as you op. I would not wear white, or even pale colour jeans. However, if you're curvy with a nice smooth outline, go for it. I've actually stood behind people in white jeans before and wondered if they own mirrors or have friends who are honest, every lump and bump showing is not a good look IMO.

june2007 · 15/03/2020 19:34

Curvier women should where what ever they feal comfortable in.

Tootletum · 15/03/2020 19:35

No not personally

flatoutpanic · 15/03/2020 19:37

I think as long as they’re a good quality, thick denim and not too skin tight, you should absolutely go for it!

TopShelf · 15/03/2020 19:37

Come on, if not now then when... forget the petty rules and wear what you like. And to hell with it.

MintySpud · 15/03/2020 19:41

Try some on and see how you look. Take a brutally honest friend.

MrsGrindah · 15/03/2020 19:48

I mean not too thin denim...then you get that cellulittey orange peel, look another poster mentioned. Re underwear..skin coloured no VPL briefs or shape wear. By the way I,have seen many a skinny woman who hasn’t looked nice in white jeans. I don’t think it’s about size I think it’s about quality of the jeans and their fit.

Eesha · 15/03/2020 19:54

Can anyone recommend a pair then? Or any thoughts on the one I posted earlier?

flatoutpanic · 15/03/2020 19:58

White company boyfriend jeans?

flatoutpanic · 15/03/2020 20:00

M&S

Runkle · 15/03/2020 20:00

Nude no vpl knickers/thong

MrsGrindah · 15/03/2020 20:01

I wouldn’t go for cigarette shape..too form fitting.
