Hey @Red1003 - I’m not a medical professional, but there are a few red flags for me here...
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having health problems and that your GP hasn’t been able to give you answers, but I’m a little concerned that the health consultant you’ve been seeing is a bit of a witch doctor.
For example... no dentist would advise that you stop using toothpaste with fluoride in. Fluoride has a key role in preventing cavities, and studies have shown that when fluoride is added to public drinking water, tooth decay in adults and children is reduced by 25%. There is no reason to be fearful of fluoride.
Similarly, the suggestion that you remove mercury fillings: while mercury is indeed toxic, there has never been a clinical study showing mercury poisoning in people with amalgam fillings.
I could go on... as has already been pointed out to you, the advice not to use ‘chemical health and beauty products’ or ‘chemical household products’ makes no sense; since everything (including water!) is a chemical. There is no danger at all in eating microwaved foods - microwaving is a safe and efficient way to cook (as long as you don’t have an old or leaky microwave, and even then, just don’t stand in front of it while cooking - the food is still fine!) Tap water in this country is safe and absolutely fine to both cook with and drink. Please don’t stop taking medication that has been prescribed to you!
In short - please consider who this person advising you is, what their qualifications are, and where their expertise comes from. This list suggests to me that they’re peddling pseudo-science - and that makes me really angry, because it sounds like you have a genuine medical issue and need to be taken seriously. Please don’t be taken in.
