Hello

I am looking at going chemical free with my make up, and just wondered if any of you have ever done this? And advise or feedback from doing so?

I currently use double wear, so looking for something that won't be too different but without the chemicals if that's even possible? I'm clueless about make up. Thank you

Ay ay ay, sounds like anti science nonsense to me but you do you op, your body your choice

Please continue to vaccinate any children you may have though :)

Right, so, unsurprisingly, your "functional health consultant" is an unqualified woo seller with a name deliberately designed to set off "sciency" and "doctory" resonances while meaning exactly nothing. Nobody with a teaspoon of actual scientific training would advise you to avoid "chemicals".

Seriously, stop giving this charlatan your money.

A friend of mine has very sensitive skin and tries to avoid artificial ingredients in cosmetics as much as she can. She’s a big fan of Lavera makeup.

@baileysandamincepie thanks for sharing that. Just looked at some things on that page and it does look like the things this guy has been telling me. I wish I had done more research but at least I've only lost 100 quid and not much more!

Wow that list! That is insane. Glad you shared that as it completely changes my answer too.

I think it’s fine looking for products that contain no additional ingredients that might irritate your skin, like excessive fragrance for example. (And that is all very personal.) But no way would I do it because I believe in any of the shite this guy is peddling you.

If you're interested in a more organic approach, look at Green People. They have a few make up products but not many, but their skin care ranges are very good and they do sample sachets and travel sizes to buy too. Just remember that even natural ingredients can cause a reaction (I react to things with cucumber and ginseng for example).
