Just that really. I know she is rich and famous but so are many others and she has just knocked them all out of the park!

I have never watched a Friends, and have never seen her films so don't really know that much about her. I have seen plenty of her in photos and she is someone who looks like she has her shit together.

She is not beautiful, but has made the most of herself and the end result is stunning. To be all trendy, I like her aesthetic. I like the simplicity of her clothes - I don't mean the photo shoot ones - some might say she looks boring but she just always looks stylish and never overdone.

AudacityOfHope · 15/02/2020 19:02

Why is it so often seen as 'desperate' if you draw any sort of attention to yourself after the age of, say, 28?

If Brad Pitt does a photo shoot is that desperate? Oh right it's the penis that makes the difference.

GabsAlot · 15/02/2020 19:09

her cheeks have been filled apart from that she looks good

restawhile77 · 15/02/2020 19:11

She looks amazing! I think they're quite a few jealous posters on here saying unpleasant things.

Oh nonsense, apart from these pics being very heavily photoshopped, why the hell is it jealousy to give an honest opinion. Are we all supposed to like the same. There’s loads of women that I think are beautiful in Hollywood, and if I thought JA was one I’d say so. If we’re going to comment on a woman’s looks/appearance we should be able to give an honest opinion without being called “unpleasant”. Jeeze.

izzywizzygood · 15/02/2020 19:13

She looks incredible. I love it when people look after themselves and set a standard. Too many people are slovenly. She radiates and looks like so much fun! Anyone who tries to say "filler" or "botox", well they're just plain jealous! I adore women who look great and trim in their 40s, 50s upwards.

Why the hell would that make a difference. I’d say the same, if I thought he looked ridiculous.

GabsAlot · 15/02/2020 19:17

i cant say the word filler?

BorneoBabe · 15/02/2020 19:19

Her mouth is... weird. It's not bitchy to say - she did something to it (fillers, botox) and now it looks unnatural.

If I had that Friends money I'd have Demi Moore's PS on speed dial.

Straycatstrut · 15/02/2020 19:21

She looks great in the shoot/films, but I reckon we all would with a personal trainer, makeup artist, stylist, photoshop and lighting tricks.

TurquoiseDress · 15/02/2020 19:23

I think she looks fabulous!Smile

tenlittlecygnets · 15/02/2020 19:29

She looked bloated and puffy on Graham Norton. Not like herself at all, and just wrong. She needs to stop doing fillers or Botox or whatever the heck it is.

izzywizzygood · 15/02/2020 19:39

I absolutely think she's great, have to say that again. She is something all women should aspire to! She has a great personality to boot.

TheWordmeister · 15/02/2020 19:41

You what?

I'm all for cosmetic enhancements and I have botox myself. But she has had some dodgy filler and it has been to the detriment of her face.

MorrisZapp · 15/02/2020 19:48

She's always been my 'ideal'. Beautiful, slim, glossy, fit, yet approachable. And she's about my age. I love everything about her, but yes the big pants outfit is begging for a Celeste Barber pisstake!

mrscampbellblackagain · 15/02/2020 19:52

Morris - glossy is exactly the word!

EthelMayFergus · 15/02/2020 19:55

I think she looks gorgeous, and she's also one of those people who gets better looking as you listen to her due to her humour and intelligence. I'm seriously envious about her knees though - no amount of photo shopping could make my knees look like that!

MarshaBradyo · 15/02/2020 19:58

I don’t love the shoot style but she does look pretty good.

A bit too plumped out facially though. I always thought her hair was incredible. Good arms too

Dozer · 15/02/2020 19:58

But it IS filler, botox and cosmetic surgery, not just “looking after yourself”.

MoltonSilver · 15/02/2020 20:01

From photos you cant tell what anyone actually looks like. Photos are routinely touched up.

Granted, she does look very well on tv.

TreatMyself · 15/02/2020 20:05

I’m sure she’s had filler and Botox but I can’t see it myself. She just looks normal to me.

I agree rebell I think we are told who is beautiful by the media and we just fall in line with what we’re told. It isn’t being bitchy or mean or jealous if we don’t agree. Why should we all think the same. I agree about her hair and figure, but facially? Most definitely not.

frumpety · 15/02/2020 20:13

I’m sorry but the obsession with calling her beautiful has always baffled me. Average features which are fairly plain and masculine. Poor bone structure in face.

Can you share who you think is beautiful Rebellenny ?

isabellerossignol · 15/02/2020 20:15

Isn't that the joy of diversity though? There surely has never been a person, male or female, who everyone agrees is beautiful. And it would be a shame if there was.

XingMing · 15/02/2020 20:17

I think she has been very careful of her weight and face for her whole career. She's worked at staying a healthy weight but not emaciated, and at maintaining her muscle tone though appropriate physical conditioning and exercise. And would supect some judicious photoshopping in the mix.

But -given that I am not especially photogenic, and I'm at least 10 years older than Jen - and have allowed my hair to go grey, but I have done the fitness and had a single child, I reckon that with the full on Hollywood treatment professional pictures would not show me as 63. My neck is starting to sag now, but no jowls yet, and I wouldn't volunteer for a nude shot but I am reasonably confident most days that I look good for my age. I still wear bikinis (ignoring the thread veins in my legs). In my own pictures, unretouched and not photo-shopped, I just look what I am. Decent looking, trim, fit and in my seventh decade.

The beauty competition is one we have to learn to leave behind. The glow and glory of youth fades.
