I am thinking of buying a pair ... the looks soooooooooo comfy and practical. But then they say that about Crocs!! Please help me decide!

Thanks

they are blissfully comfy

nailpolish · 03/09/2007 11:28

oh god i want a pair

fortyplus · 03/09/2007 11:29

Cod asked this earlier this year and was told an emphatic NO! But if they're comfy, who cares?

saythatagain · 03/09/2007 11:30

How much are they and where do you buy them from? I'm very tempted myself

paddingtonbear1 · 03/09/2007 11:30

well I've seen quite a few people round here wearing them still. I think you either love them or hate them! I love them. Best place I've found to buy them is online here

paddingtonbear1 · 03/09/2007 11:31

saythatagain, don't buy them from the shops they are £££

paddingtonbear1 · 03/09/2007 11:31

buying online saves you about 50 quid!!

nailpolish · 03/09/2007 11:32

thanks for that link, paddington

saythatagain · 03/09/2007 11:34

Thank you - do you think they maybe cheaper to buy in the US? Not wanting to sound thrilled but I'm going in November

oliveoil · 03/09/2007 11:36

BIL is sending me some tall chocolate brown ones over, he is in Perth Australia

miles cheaper

I got chocolate brown ones from ASOS last year, they are emu not ugg but they look the same and cost half the price!
not sure if they are cheaper in the US but I wouldn't be surprised.

Vinegar · 03/09/2007 11:46

Yes they are much cheaper in the USA, around $120 I think.

MrsBadger · 03/09/2007 11:53

they may be comfy, but they are ugly, unflattering, have no arch support and are no good in the rain

Get decent leather boots instead. Please!

Slubberdegullion · 03/09/2007 12:03

I have a pair of these. Yes they are ugly, but under jeans they are OK for general out and about in the crappy British weather. They are water proof too. Excellent in the snow.

I have perpetually cold feet in the winter and they are the best thing (with chumfy socks) for keeping my toes from dropping off.

mosschops30 · 03/09/2007 12:05

Britney Spears wears them ..... nuff said!!

they are fugly but they are the comfiest thing in the world
also, they don't make your feet sweat so they never get whiffy

Slubberdegullion · 03/09/2007 12:11

Ah LL, you have discovered my best kept secret.

Indeed this autumn season I will mostly be seen in my sheepies, with cut off shorts and this. Well I am trying to fit into the whole Cheshire set village scene you know.

PippiLangstrump · 03/09/2007 12:25

same dillemma here. i personally think they are ugly ugly ugly and promised I'd never buy them.

But... I sais that about crocks then bought them and cannot keep them off my feet (still think they are ugly too!)

now I am pg and my feet are going to swell a bit and I want to be confy...

the boots I normally wear are like these

what shell I do?

PippiLangstrump · 03/09/2007 12:25

MrsBadger · 03/09/2007 12:32

PippiLangstrump · 03/09/2007 12:45

expatinscotland · 03/09/2007 12:53

They're not as comfy as Uggs.

PippiLangstrump · 03/09/2007 12:55
