Ankle grazers are rubbish

Particularly in winter. If you’ve got lovely ankles and don’t have a cold commute or live somewhere it rains maybe they are ok.

It’s hard to fin anything else though. How on earth are they sensible for real life?

I find them very flattering but then I do have slim legs and skinny ankles which probably helps. Now it's colder I wear them with low heeled ankle boots and those invisible trainer socks, so only a sliver of leg is showing. I think it looks so much nearer and fresher. I hate seeing full length jeans clumsily stretched over the top of ankle boots, or just sort of concertinaed at the top of the foot because they're too long.

I’ve gone off long ones that bunch too

I stopped wearing cropped trousers years ago because I was sick of men asking me if they had shrunk in the wash.

They’re ok until you sit down and ride up and then your lovely wintery pale legs are exposed up to mid calf

Nothing wrong with pale of course but knowing me I’d wish I’d put a bit of dove summer glow on.

I wore ankle grazers a lot a few years ago. With trainers and socks or sock boots. However I’ve since fell out of love with all jeans and wear skirts these days so my opinion is pointless.

They are ESPECIALLY bad with ankle boots. I look like Captain Kirk. It's a problem.
