What’s your favourite Chanel perfume

On the back of the current thread re signature scents, I’m interested in people’s favourite Chanel fragrance. I have a bottle of Coco mademoiselle I wear on a night out but I’d like to try another of the Chanel perfume range.

I've been wearing Allure as my everyday perfume since 1998. Every so often, I'll decide to try something different, but I've not found anything else to compare, or that smells like "me". Wear Coco at night occasionally, and Boy, but it seems more difficult to find.

I had time before work so spritzed myself with Chanel 19 (I was looking to try Paris -Venise but could not see it). It (19) smells quite fresh and green but can no longer smell it on my body but had spritzed my clothes so I still get a hint.

Chanel cristalle eau vert is my fave, I'm fond of Coco mam and chance.

Coco Mademoiselle Intense is my new favourite. It has the Coco Mad DNA but the citrusy zing is dialled down and replaced with a smooth, warm amber. It’s delicious.

Misia is a beautiful candied violet, but light and airy too.

I’m not a huge fan of Chance, but I love all the flankers (Eau Fraiche, Eau Vive, Eau Tendre).

@KellyMarieTunstall2 how is the staying power of Cristalle eau vert? I tried a few today while I was in town and loved this one. I also liked Chance eau Tendre

It as better staying power than most of my perfumes

No 19 and Cristalle

I think they changed the formula for Cristalle at some point though - it’s not quite as nice as it was

@Deathraystare I bought Venise last year, I associate it with summer and holidays, sun lotion and warm skin, to my nose it is very light, perfect for this time of year during the day. I do seem to use quite a few sprays rather than just one or two of Coco or Allure.

Cristalle - I find it’s the perfect blend of green & floral notes.

No 5 smells awful on me.

Chance eau tendre, wore it on my wedding day and have loved it for about five years now, I’ll always have a bottle of it

I have recently been given a bottle of Chanel Riviera, glorious summer scents

My everyday is Allure, but I have 3 x Chance, Gabrielle, Mademoiselle, No 5. I didn't know there was a new one out. I shouldn't go and test it should i.......

Mademoiselle.I tried Coco recently and it gave me an awful headache couldnt wait to scrub it off me

I love Gabrielle but cannot smell it at all once I've put it on.

My DM wears No. 5 (and my Nan used to too) so it reminds me of them both - in a good way! It was my 'something borrowed' when we got married (I do quite like Angel in light doses but it makes my DM feel sick so the No. 5 seemed like a good idea as I didn't want her to not be able to stand next to me on my wedding day!). However I do actually prefer the slightly lighter scent of No.5 l'eau which I picked up a couple of years ago - not sure if it's still current though as I don't go through my perfumes that quickly!?

I’m the same with Gabrielle, cannot smell a thing once I apply it 🤷‍♀️

No 19, I don't really like any of the others
