Most effective hair removal cream?

Katymac · 18/07/2007 15:43

Please don't suggest waxing as every time I wax I bruise

So I have dark hair

I can't be bothered shaving

What do I use - waay back in the 80's I would leave the cream on for 3 or 4 times the length suggested in order to remove my hairs

Have they imporved - if so which ones are best?

TIA
KMc

  • not the salon. Sorry.

Thanks ProfYaffle, I also have sensitive skin so I think I will leave the waxing alone then!

ouch would definitely steer clear of waxing if that;s what happens. Sounds like lasering/IPL might be the thing for you! Only trouble is the cost, but it's worth it for permanent hair removal. I wax my legs but am having bikini line done. You can't wax once you start as it interferes with the process but you can shave in between each session if you need to. However, after only two sessions haven't had much hair grow back at all so haven't needed to shave.

I'd love to do that matilde but I'm out in the sticks (Norfolk) and haven't found close by that does it as yet, still looking though!

Katymac · 19/07/2007 12:23

I'm in Norfolk too....by Acle - where are you?

I'm in Diss, originally from Warrington though. What led you to getting waxed in Warrington?

Katymac · 19/07/2007 16:14

Working there

I was brought up in Liverpool

Couldn't get much more different to Acle! I found it a bit of shock to the sytem moving down here although now we have the dc's I'm glad I'm not up north anymore.

Ditto

BTW - I now am the proud possessor of a very bad rash

I did a patch test - my legs are fine
My bikini line is now a nasty rash......why me?
