This is the dress I've gone for, it's actually more pale blue than lilac, any links to shoes and jackets? I'm open up all style recommendations and colours, although not very high heels as wont be able to walk in them all day! Budget around £150 for both items. Wedding is a country style in summer (UK) so hopefully nice weather!

It's beautiful, I think a jacket would look wrong, I would wear a pashmina instead. I thought these sandals would be nice and they look comfy

goose1964 · 10/04/2019 11:54

m.zalando.co.uk/soliver-wedge-sandals-navy-so211a0eb-k11.html link would be an idea

FlugIsAFlaskAndAMug · 10/04/2019 11:56

It's lovely 🙂

MollysLips · 10/04/2019 12:32

You look gorgeous! Please don't wear a jacket over that delicate dress. Smother yourself in deep heat instead 😆

Congratulations and have a wonderful day!

GinaCarbonara · 10/04/2019 12:46

No jacket! You look lovely and have great arms so should show them off

tierraJ · 10/04/2019 12:50

It's a really pretty dress

motherofthebride19 · 10/04/2019 13:02

Thank you everyone for your kind words! I should have mentioned I'm walking my daughter down the aisle so feel I need something for that more formal bit and not too keen on wedge style shoes tbh x

You look gorgeous 😍

catinboots99 · 10/04/2019 13:06

I would go for nude shoes and maybe a dark grey/charcoal clutch?

NiteFlights · 10/04/2019 13:21

Shoes - would something along these lines work?

I’d avoid wedges tbh, too clumsy and informal.

I like the idea of a charcoal clutch bag, perhaps with matching pashmina?

NiteFlights · 10/04/2019 13:22

Clumpy, not clumsy

motherofthebride19 · 10/04/2019 13:27

I like those shoes @NiteFlights very pretty colour

I'm think a white bolero jacket and white shoes may be the way to go --
shameless bump--

AdaColeman · 10/04/2019 18:33

What about metallic pewter shoes? I'm not sure about white shoes with that dress.

catinboots99 · 10/04/2019 18:40

No no deffo not white. Pewter is a good call

sittingonacornflake · 10/04/2019 18:40

Oh goodness no not white!!

AdaColeman · 10/04/2019 18:45

John Lewis have a Phase Eight jacket called Tammy, in several different colours, including ivory and a very pale dusky pink, possibly the shape you were thinking of?

Get the jacket first then decide on the shoes.

Llongyfarchiadau · 10/04/2019 18:58

Another voice saying please don't opt for white shoes.

AgathaF · 10/04/2019 19:00

Not white. I don't think a jacket would sit well over the neckline of that dress either.

Pinkyyy · 10/04/2019 19:04

OP I'm not sure you're wearing the dress correctly, it looks like it's meant to be worn off the shoulder and it's causing the ruffle to look misshapen. It's a beautiful dress though and I really like the colour.

WifOfBif · 10/04/2019 19:06

You look beautiful!

nooddsocksforme · 10/04/2019 19:10

www.jacques-vert.co.uk/crepe-bolero-32a666 light grey jacket

Bigearringsbigsmile · 10/04/2019 19:10

matte silver shoes and clutch.
no jacket.
pashmina.

SavoyCabbage · 10/04/2019 19:11

I don’t think you should wear a jacket either. Even down the aisle. It looks so lovely. Nobody is going to think you should be wearing a jacket to make it more formal.
