Not worn out but don't fit or suit. Charity shop or somewhere else?

Give away to friends
Charity shop
Sometimes try and eBay but with very limited success cos I’m a bit lazy about it.

Mummyto2munchkins · 29/03/2019 17:50

Either Charity shop or a Woman's refuge.

Git rid of loads of DC clothes. Half charity half refuge :)

Dottierichardson · 29/03/2019 17:50

Donate to a local charity shop.

ZeldaPrincessOfHyrule · 29/03/2019 17:53

I just gave three bags of our unwanted clothing to a charity at DS's school that collect and the school earns a percentage, of not it's charity shops. If it's decent unwanted clothes of mine I run it past SIL first in case she wants them, if it's the DC's I run it past her for my nephew. I tend not to have anything worth selling on really.

SpeckledyHen · 29/03/2019 17:55

Charity shop

Mumshappy · 29/03/2019 17:55

Give to younger children and local womens refuge

trendingorange · 29/03/2019 17:59

Clothes bin in car parks (next to the recycling) I always forget to take it to the charity shop direct, but if it's in the car I remember when I pop to the gym/supermarket

bonzo77 · 29/03/2019 17:59

Depends on what they are.

Give to family / friends / charity shop / for re-use by local organisations

Sell on FB (rarely)

Re-purpose. Adults clothes into kids ones, some fabrics make good sanitary towels or hammocks for our pet rats, tear up for cleaning cloths

Palominoo · 29/03/2019 18:00

Family and friends.

Sell. Only the 'expensive' items.

Charity shop.

funnystory · 29/03/2019 18:01

If you shop in H&M, give them a bag of clothes and you'll get a £5 voucher to use when you spend £25.

DarlingCoffee · 29/03/2019 18:13

Or you can take a bag to Oxfam and get a £5 - voucher off if a £35 - spend in Mark's.

lindyloo57 · 29/03/2019 18:42

Forgot to add, one item must be a Mark's item.

NecklessMumster · 29/03/2019 18:43

Charity shop

Dartsplayer · 29/03/2019 18:45

FB selling sites, ebay, charity shop

tubularfells · 29/03/2019 18:47

Decent clothes go to the charity shop, tatty ones go to Hennes for the £5 voucher.

NorthEndGal · 29/03/2019 18:49

My girlfriends raid my closet first, then charity shop the rest
I get 'shopping privileges' in their closets too!

GeorgeTheBleeder · 29/03/2019 18:51

How do people come to be in possession of clothes that don't suit them? I understand about things not fitting - if your weight changes - but surely you choose your own clothes? Why would you pay for things you don't like/love?

RikoBitch · 29/03/2019 19:08

How do people come to be in possession of clothes that don't suit them?

I think it's quite easy. 10 years ago, I used to wear pencil skirts to work every day. I don't like that style anymore, plus it would look ridiculous in my current role, so pencil skirts don't suit me, or my style, anymore

prettyLittlefool · 29/03/2019 19:37

I shove them all in the clothes bin at the tip. I'm not a fan of moving old clothes on to charity shops.

sulee · 29/03/2019 19:53

Charity shops

RedRiverShore · 29/03/2019 19:57

Charity bin in supermarket car park or charity bag that comes though letterbox

gotmychocolateimgood · 29/03/2019 19:58

Some things are sale bargains that I thought I liked, but actually look horrible but were cheap so I bought them anyway. I choose much better for my shape now. Also my shape changed after children.

RedRiverShore · 29/03/2019 20:04

I believe I may also have some similar sale bargains Blush
