Not worn out but don't fit or suit. Charity shop or somewhere else?

pretty why not? Charities like selling them, people like buying them.
I sell a few really nice ones, charity shop the rest, and if they are really beyond anything they go to Oxfam who take rags.
The DCs clothes I do similar but school or nursery are always grateful for pants (and really tatty school clothes). I just make sure not to give DD's old pants to her classroom as she still has accidents and they would come home again like a bad penny.

Give away to nieces or charity shop

eBay first
Then car boot if I can be bothered
Then charity shop
Last recycling

I've started e-baying clothes which are moderately popular brands (Toast, Cos, Seasalt) - I tend to do it in batches and at the start of the season, e.g. any summer clothes will go on soon, any winter ones will wait until the autumn. Anything which I think might be hard to sell online but is in good condition will go to my local dress agency, which sells most things for £20/30, and gives you 50% . Clothes which I don't think are going to sell anywhere either go to the charity shop or to a clothes swap event that occasionally happens where I live. Anything in really poor condition goes into the charity bins at the tip. I'm trying to be more rigorous about buying stuff, which hopefully means that in time there'll be less to pass on. But I think everyone has bought things which seem right in the shop, and then several months later have never been worn, and never will be!

eBay - funds got towards any new items I need. Or charity shop.

@prettyLittlefool I'm not a fan of moving old clothes on to charity shops.

That's s shame - nearly all my clothes are second-hand and a large percentage of my wardrobe comes from charity shops.

Due to dieting I am always buying new things and recycling old
I buy from charity shops eBay and outlet stores and with judicious purchases often make a profit when I sell them on
