It looked amazing on the model online, but on me, I think a bit mumsy?

Should I keep or return?

Oh God, it's awful. Sorry.

Bigonesmallone3 · 25/02/2019 20:56

Second one

funmummy48 · 25/02/2019 20:58

The first one was lovely. The second one looks like a silk dressing gown.

lazymare · 25/02/2019 21:01

The olive green one.

fearfullotsofthetime · 25/02/2019 21:02

Oh gosh, now I’ve ordered the second one too! I’m struggling Grin

It made me think of this outfit from Four Weddings & a Funeral. I think the pink accessories would really make it. And you could definitely wear it again at an evening do. If you like it, keep it Smile

Ooh now I love that four weddings dress! Perhaps it’s my style Grin

The second dress the olive one is gorgeous, definitely go for that one. I don't like the first one at all it swamps you.

TSSDNCOP · 25/02/2019 21:06

Totally agree with the FWAAF comparison.

In my family green is unlucky, but that could be due to DM’s bonkers notions rather than any actual culture.

hugoagogo · 25/02/2019 21:08

I like the second one, but it looks very unforgiving. As to stains, slight bumps, outline of underwear.
I wouldn't want to wear it to an all day event and eat and drink in it. Perhaps I am a total slob?

SorrelForbes · 25/02/2019 21:11

They're both gorgeous (I pretty much live in Reiss!) but I probably wouldn't wear either to a Spring or Summer wedding. I'd wear the butterfly one to work.

CockSpadget · 25/02/2019 21:12

I like the first one, but much prefer the 2nd, it's stunning and you have the figure to carry it off.

SurgeHopper · 25/02/2019 21:12

The green ine5is better BUT it does depend on the wedding tbh

SurgeHopper · 25/02/2019 21:12

One is

ree348 · 25/02/2019 21:14

The second one is beautiful - with gold sandals! The first one won't do you any justice.

Snog · 25/02/2019 21:14

The olive green one is best as the first one is like a work dress, it's a bit too long on you imo.

gigi556 · 25/02/2019 21:15

Looks like something for the office not a wedding. Not a fan.

hummanahummana · 25/02/2019 21:17

It's your shoes. Get ones like the model and it'll look stylish rather than mumsy.

EdWinchester · 25/02/2019 21:18

Don't like the first but love the second, although you'd have to have the flattest of stomachs to wear it.

BackforGood · 25/02/2019 21:22

I was thinking the same as hugoagogo
That shiney material would be very unforgiving on an ordinary person for a day.

LucheroTena · 25/02/2019 21:24

The second dress is too ‘look at me’ for a wedding and a bit too shiny for pics. The colour is hard to wear too. I like the first dress a lot as I love understated- plus it looks comfy- but don’t wear it with those shoes!

ColeHawlins · 25/02/2019 21:28

1970s primary school teacher.

Yes, In a good way Smile

It's a great shape for a slim figure & It is winter, after all.

HarrySnotter · 25/02/2019 21:38

Don't like the first one, LOVE the second one.

Quintella · 25/02/2019 22:06

In the first dress it looks like you're doing your best to disguise a great figure.

Winenotttea · 25/02/2019 22:23

I think that it’s just your posture whilst taking the photo of the first dress that is misleading. Standing tall, shoulders back with the right accessories and I think that it would look fab.
I’m not a fan of the second dress.
