Olivia winning was a surprise!

Not blown away by much last night but thought Jennifer Hudson looked spectacular. And even though Rachel Weisz's dress perhaps wasn't overly flattering in the shape it gave her, it was interesting and I respect her for pushing it!

Richard E Grant looked fantastic too.

Well at least Rachel would be fine if she spilled any food on herself!

Commiseration to Glen Close, 7 times a nominee and yet not winning. That is TOUGH !
I don't like Rachel's look. She is so lovely and could have looked spectacular.

I've just seen OC's dress is Prada.

It looks like somebody said "It's a bit plain, let's add a bit of tulle stuff over it with a big bow."

Olivia's dress looked like someone had said "you can't go like that, it's not fancy enough" and grabbed one of the wedding chair bows and plonked on top.

Lady Gaga looked stunning, she's my style winner so far.

Julia Roberts doesn't always get it right but I thought she looked stunning in her hot pink Elie Saab. And of course her best accessory is that smile!

I didn't mind Olivia Colman. I sort of like that she hasn't thought 'awards season, must squeeze into a slinky frock'

I could look at Rachel Weisz's beautiful face all day...that's basically all I did during The Favourite 🙈

@ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual I saw Rachel on stage in Streetcar Named Desire 10 years ago. In person she's even more beautiful than she looks onscreen!

Rachel Weiss is looking younger every year, not in having work done way or preserving herself well. I’m not describing it at all well but I feel like youthfulness and freshness just radiate out of her from inside.

I love that it’s so unequivocal. There were more non-standard looks for men this awards season but they’re a bit wishy washy, things like the LV harnesses, colour and Nicholas Hoult’s fabric swoosh/tail thing. This was definitely not wishy washy.
