Following on the success of the long running Royal Style & Gossip threads, I am starting a companion thread, for us to still chat about frocks and indulge in a bit of non spiteful gossip. In the spirit of the other naice threads, please keep this fluffy too.

Yes agreed. Men look so much better when they get a bit crabbier as they age. Smooth plump faces are what I associate with babies

Victoria and David have been at a GQ dinner for men’s fShion week.
I think she looks great. Really like the blouse and the cords. They appear to fit her better than her normal pavement dragging pants.

Not keen on David’s suit. Fabric looks bulky, trousers too short and those brown lace up boots look awkward with the suit.

Why does she look like she is going to burst in to tears ?

David looks dreadful but then by all accounts he apparently is just a bit dreadful.

That's just how Posh is - she never smiles in photos. Apparently she doesn't like her teeth. But she never comes across as miserable in interviews. On the contrary, she seems funny and self-deprecating. But yes, if the stories about Becks are true then it's all for Brand Beckham.

For me there is a difference between looking sad and not smiling.
She just looks very sad in those photos- There were more of them in the DM

I think it’s her lower straight eyebrow thing she started a while back that makes her face look sad.

It’s so painful watching them fake their relationship for the sake of the brand.

I think they had a meeting and came to a business arrangement a while ago.

4 beautiful healthy children, money to burn or as my mother would say -"They'll never see a poor day." Fantastic holidays. No housework. And still no smile.

I find the way they push their kids into the spotlight a bit distasteful. Brooklyn is no more than an average photographer yet had a book published? The other two boys are models and I don't know what's planned for Harper but it would be funny if she turned out to be the future England captain!

I think the permafrown is a PR thing. Their 'brand' requires them to be in the spotlight and have people talking about them, but what exactly do the Beckhams DO these days? He hasn't kicked a ball in years. Her fashion line is losing millions. And with so many newer 'celebs' competing for our attention, they look a bit last decade. But at the same time, here we are talking about them... mostly because of their grim facial expressions.

I also think the 'divorce rumours' have been put out by their PR for the same reasons. I do think their marriage is a sham and has been for some time, but all this talk of an 'imminent divorce announcement' is keeping them in the news. After all, what else are they doing worthy of attention?

They are not doing their kids any favours encouraging mediocrity.
What does Brooklyn do all day apart from hang out with his parents?

They're basically using their kids as accessories to Brand Beckham, which is deeply cynical on their part.

The difference between Beckhams and every celeb parents is the pap shots

US Law is different and it's quite the free for all (footage of a very young Suri Cruise being harassed by paps is quite shocking) I think it comes under Freedom Of The Press.

But the UK Law is different on privacy. I had no idea what the Martin Paltrow Children looked like til they moved to America they were always blurred out

Elton Johns sons are always blurred out and other celebs too

The Beckhams children have NEVER been blurred out which means they've never exercised that right and never wanted to

Remember the hoo hah over Harper's birthday tea at the palace. Several mums of the girls pictured went ape when the pictures went in the press and demanded their daughters be blurred out which they duly were but weren't originally

Hugh Grant, living in London, had his 5th child last year and nobody knows if it's a boy or a girl. Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig - probably one of the world's most famous actors - live in NY and I don't think I've ever seen a proper photo of their daughter.

So there's really no doubt that the Beckhams could keep their children private if they wanted to. But they don't want to. I'm convinced that they call the paps to let them know when they and their kids are going to be at a restaurant, leaving the airport etc. Other celebs manage to avoid the paps, so why not them?

Yes Hugh Grants kids in fact, I think only the names of the eldest two have ever been released and that's because he's named them in interviews. In fact some celebrity had a child quite recently and no name given can't remember offhand. Completely doable

Victoria has posted photos of Harper in uniform on instagram and it isn't hard to find out which school she attends.

Don't know the name of the Weisz-Craig baby either. Also, Jessica Chastain had a baby via surrogate a few months ago and nobody was any the wiser. Stil no pics of the baby or any info about her name. Lots of other examples too. It can be done.

I think it's obnoxious but I don't think it's odd if you see it from the 'business' point of view (ugh). The Beckhams these days are barely a step up from the Kardashians. They don't actually DO anything of interest - he's a has-been footballer and she 'designs' clothes nobody wants to buy. So they're basically shilling their 'private' lives. And that includes their kids, who didn't ask for any of it.

I think it's a subtle kind of brag

They sent their sons to the school William and Harry went to, Harper to the girls one and I think moved her somewhere more popular with the types they wanted to socialise with.

And then William and Kate went with Thomas's 😂

Harper also takes junior classes at Italia Conti so it's obvious what VBs plan is for her future

The Beckham children seem to enjoy the attention. I guess they know no different. It’s not like any of them need the money. Both David & Victoria have this pathological need to be in the public eye. It’s utterly wierd.

Back to Fashion; I saw Gemma Chan in this dress. Really springlike ( in January, I know but it was LA)
Love the length.
