I've heard the pyjamas are good but anything else you rate ?

OP posts:
JenBarber · 11/09/2018 12:52

Their hoodies are soft. Wearing one now. Very cosy.

namemychoir · 11/09/2018 13:18

I find their vests/plain tees are very good if you cut the scratchy label out!

anxious62 · 11/09/2018 13:46

Pjs, pants, control knickers. A friend recommends their bras but they don’t work for me.

Jeans and anything disney!

argumentativefeminist · 11/09/2018 13:48

Everything!! 😂 Got a gorgeous checked jacket from there the other day.

Justmuddlingalong · 11/09/2018 13:51

Fleece lined winter tights.

ArtemisWeatherwax · 11/09/2018 13:54

Make up brushes. Hair clips.

fluffiphlox · 11/09/2018 13:56

Hoodies. £7 each. Great for lobbing on after the gym or with pyjama bottoms at home. Wash reasonably well given the price.

RedBlu · 11/09/2018 14:00

Have to say, I am really starting to like Primark stuff. The quality has improved recently I think.

I have purchased in the last couple of weeks some knitted jumper/skater dresses for £10 which are really soft, fit well and wash nicely.

Some basic stretch t-shirts for about £2.50 which again, fit well and wash well.

Black leggings for £2.60 which I didn't have much hope for but they are pretty good!

Spotted some nice cardigans and Disney jumpers the other day which felt really soft and cosy so will probably grab some of them on next visit

I am not keen on their underwear though, find it can be ill fitting and loses it shape fairly quickly but the individual pairs might be better - I have only purchased the multipacks

angemorange · 11/09/2018 14:22

PJ's are great - bought my comfiest pair ever for £6 the other day.

Hoodies are good, I've also had some nice winter jumpers.

Summer stuff OK - flip flops/sarongs etc.

Kids stuff not bad either - shorts/dresses/trousers/sparkly stuff.

Also like their hair bobbles and Harry Potter household range for kids

ShangriLaLaLa · 11/09/2018 14:30

Bought an excellent long sleeved plain slouchy top last week. A great basic and incredibly reasonable. I’m off soon to see if I can find it in other colours.

MorrisZapp · 11/09/2018 14:34

Tiny wee socks to wear with trainers.

Harry Potter everything.

Boys joggers.

Plastic coffee cup. Saves money in every cafe!

Those weird fluffy socks. We call them 'mega socks' and even DP wears them in the house if he's poorly :)

PerfectlyPosed · 11/09/2018 14:35

I love their kids stuff. £1.80 for a top that 3 year old DD will wreck at nursery, you can't go wrong! Also their pyjamas and hoodies. And I don't think I've ever owned a pair of heels from primark but have always loved their pumps and plimsolls. Oh and 90p flip flops!

MyGirlDaisy · 11/09/2018 14:38

Long sleeved cotton tees wash really well and last for ages, also cami tops which fit and wash better than the ones I got from m& s and are £1.80 each! Socks are great too. DS’s have denim shorts from there which are really good and jeans too.

HildaZelda · 11/09/2018 14:50

Everything. I'd be naked without Primark. Only thing I'm really not mad about are their jeans. I find that they don't keep their shape or wash too well, so I go to river Island for jeans, but underwear, tops, t-shirts, shoes and boots are all great.
Jewellery is worth a look too. Lots of copies of designer stuff for a few quid.

Ironfloor269 · 11/09/2018 14:58

Seriously? The £2.50 t shirt washes well? I bought some last year and they've all gone bobbly and thin/see-through almost. So now i use them to plop my hair.

NuffingChora · 11/09/2018 15:00

The invisible sport socks - like trainer liners but made of sort of slightly fishnet-ish fabric - totally invisible in loads of shoes, much less sweaty than normal socks and don’t slip off and fall down like most low-cit sock things.

Isleepinahedgefund · 11/09/2018 15:08

They do a make up removing cloth for £1.50 that removes makeup with just water, they are awesome. Can’t miss them, they’re bright pink. They’re a rip off of the much more expensive Makeup Eraser.

I also like the £1.50 footless tights they do - I always have a stash of them.

Makeup and beauty section is surprisingly good for the price - foundations, lipsticks and glosses are good if you can find your shade. The foundation stick is one of the best I’ve ever tried and it’s only £2.50! Face masks are pretty good too.

animaginativeusername · 11/09/2018 15:14

Love their Underwear, trainer socks, nightwear and short/long sleeved tops. Bedding is lovely, hasn't bobbled or faded and a lot cheaper than other high street brands.

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 11/09/2018 15:19

I think I have one of their £1.80 cami tops in every colour and several in black and white!
I also have hundreds of pairs of the little sockies that are invisible under shoes. The last couple of PJs I have had from there have gone baggy in the waist really quickly but otherwise their nightwear is good. I also rate their workout stuff. I have had a tight running top from there that's lasted years and looks much more expensive than it was.

Warandpeas · 11/09/2018 15:32

Fleecy jammies. I bought some hideous fleece cuffed bottoms from there in 2013 and they are still going strong. Kids socks/vests/pants, cheap and cheerful. They do good dressing gowns too. I’d agree with pp that the quality has improved - a lot of the A/W is copies from high fashion. Also they do a complete rip off of the Uniqlo ultra light down coats and gilets for a fraction of the price.

Sitranced · 11/09/2018 15:34

trainer socks
100% cotton cardigans
thick slipper socks
fleece lined leggings
Faux Malone perfume
face masks sachets

Barbayagar · 11/09/2018 15:38

Thick strapped cotton vest tops for £2.50 each if I remember correctly. Bought every colour as they're great for layering in the winter. Trainer socks are amazing as are the cotton pyjamas. Quality better than H&M in most cases.

Ironfloor269 · 11/09/2018 15:38

Oh yes, I forgot to mention makeup. Mascara and eyeliner are really good for everyday wear.

Fleece pyjamas are good, too.

Fstar · 11/09/2018 15:47

Pjs, homewear including duvet covers, some candles, makeup brushes esp the new pro range, face masks, socks, tshirts, cardigans, mens hoodies and tshirts, lipstick, micellar water, beach towels, makeup bags, some jackets

bigsighall · 11/09/2018 15:53

They have some fab shaping jeans in there at the mo! Not sure how well they will wash but fit brilliantly
