It was sleeveless or short sleeved and simply beautiful.

Are you in the Yorkshire type area OP and was it a christening you saw it? A friend of mine wore a similar sounding dress to what you're describing and it might have been hers if you are. If it's the same one, it was from ASOS, but I can't find it on the site now, so must have sold out.
