Saw a green midi length dress with loads of meadow flowers, i must find it please help!

Never done this before but I've searched and searched and now need the power of MNetters. I've always been amazed when MN have helped others posting similar.

It was sleeveless or short sleeved and simply beautiful.

I was looking for something similar for ages and coincidentally found it on Instagram (via @daniella_hodgson). Haven't managed to get it yet but it is Primark and is only £10/£13

I think the lesson here is that if you see someone wearing something you like tell them & ask them where they got it!

themarblefaun I agree even though thanks to MN I decided to be bold and did just that at a party two years ago, only for the person to laugh. Thinking they hadn't heard I repeated myself only to be left feeling awkward when they laughed again. I would have done it again this time though as I rarely see something that just jumps out as perfect in colour and style for me, only I would have had to leap over several tables or shout out

Agree re one off, thinking I'll keep a look out for materials when passing any shops but guess it's time to forget it ...in the hope I spot it or her again!

In answer to question embroidered on or printed, looked like printed but subtle colours not bold colours standing out from overall base green colour. Have tried to look at colour charts to see if can give idea but nearest i could get was mint green but is that the same green for everyone?

Not sure why someone would laugh when being asked where they dress came from? Unless they were being a snobby twat. I’ve asked people where they got things from if I like them, one was disappointing as they were from a small shoe shop in America. No chance of getting them lol

I thought afterwards that maybe she thought I was rude to ask not once but twice. Later I over-thought her reaction and wondered if she laughed think I would not be able to afford it.

I think it was probably a custom make. There's loads of hits on eBay for embroidered floral chiffon/ mesh type fabrics.
