Bernice thanks for thinking of me! I can't believe your DS is that age already, the last few months have just flown by. I am still at work, mainly for the aircon. I think my last day will be mid next week, it's getting tough doing 5 full days in a row as I am waking up 5-10 times a night. Found out yesterday baby has turned back to back, so no slouching on the sofa for me anymore Hmm

I (obviously) have no Vogue related news to report :( but very excited for everyone planning holiday wardrobes!

Does anyone have any suggestions for me for clothes for immediately post partum, assuming the weather doesn't cool down in the next 3 weeks? It will be too hot for leggings/harem pants and I am hoping to BF. What would you wear?

Dry your capsule sounds fab, as does the long weekend in S of France, I am well jel. Envy

shop love the sound of your holiday prep, you'll be so glam! I have booked hair cut and pedicure for next week and cancelled my 4-weekly brazilian wax, I just cannot face it

Viva sorry to hear things aren't great, hope you have a good holiday whatever happens. Flowers

Marsha fingers crossed for more success with future orders! Will be at home tonight for the football. Pizza for dinner as it's zero effort. Grin

Really pretty dress Everyone, perfect for holidays.

Blair I had my waxing done today - I never usually wax and always underestimate the pain! Toes painted, eyebrow wax done. Nails and lashes tomorrow. I feel for you in this heat. I have no recollection what I wore post partum but I do remember the style stakes were LOW. But miniShop was Jan born. Something loose and flowy. And a cushion to sit on Blush
Lots of random style challenges keep popping up - one of the girls has just announced there 'may' be a white party going on at the place we are going for dinner on Friday - thank God I had that dress for Grand Cayman as everyone else is panicking.
At home for football this eve with curry and rosé - classy Grin miniShop is allowed to stay up for the first half.

honestly blair after birth, anything elasticated on the waist was a winner for me. I most bought fairly cheap stuff though as i didn't anticipate needing them/being so big for too long. I would, if it were me, go for soft midi skirts, not pencil but soft and flowy with elastic waists for comfort, stretchy vest/other tops (especially if planning to breastfeed) and some nicer cover ups, soft shirt dresses would be a good shout too, basically anything that doesn't cling to your stomach and make you uncomfortable. I know you'll be wanting to retain your sense of self, which is of course important but comfort is really important too, especially in the first few weeks Thanks

Blair loose and comfortable and also tops not dresses so you can easily bf
I’d do loose shorts and skirts - wish I had more!

Oh and the most comfortable shoes you have. I wear Marant trainers every day I even find ballet flats a pita - actually I may have finally lost the love with them altogether

I’m ready and packed in an impressively teeny suitcase. Nails are bright red. I’m in France for the WC final....how fantastic!
Set off tomorrow early.
WC with DH and gin. Perfect.

Thanks all - I don't have any loose comfy shorts or skirts so I will have a look around. I think I'm ok for tops, and I already stocked up on primark vests. I just want to have something to wear if it's still really hot and we have people visiting otherwise I'd probably sit around in a t-shirt and underwear the first few days.

Shop exciting. Are you taking miniShop? (Can’t believe I don’t know this)

Hi Blair, I'd buy some very cheap thin trousers in a couple of sizes bigger - 14 or 16 - just so they're lose. I'm sure Primark will have something. Think I also had a couple of actual breastfeeding dresses that just have a low neck and bit of cloth you push to one side.

Have lovely holidays Shop and Dry - can't believe you're going to be in France for WC Final - very exciting (& may be for the best it's not vs England!).

I had to send back Stella shoes as they were too wide - gutted but shoes have to fit perfectly at that price point.

Am very happy with the Pyrus shirt though, feels lovely on.

Also bought a couple of midi skirts - one green & white pleated number from Cos and a black midi from Stories.

Now am on the look out for a non see-through white tee so hot me with any suggestions.

Marsha, not really your bag but Zara has quite a few peasant blouse at cheap price point if you just want to try & see if you wear. Weather's changing now anyway so maybe you feel differently.

Thanks for your kind words everyone, doing my best to be strong and carry on as normal for the DC at the moment, DH seems oblivious to the pain he is causing in his quest for happiness 🙁

37 weeks today Marsha! Eeeek

I did have some good news from my physio last night, she said my pelvis is perfectly aligned and I don't need to go back. Such a relief, as at one point I really thought I would end up on crutches by this stage.

Love your holiday pics Dry and shop!
