Still struggling with the humidity but i've a busy week and weekend from today onward so just have to get my head down and plow through. Got some more bags to be taken tot he charity shop, feeling good about what i've culled from my wardrobe, there were things hanging around in there that i was sure i'd got rid of last year but apparently not so they go now. HAve been really ruthless and coupled with not buying much apart from replacements for things that have worn out/are too big now, i'm enjoying what i've got much more

I was at the doctors last week to sort my contraception and i was weighed as part of it and unknowingly, i've lost half a stone which was a bonus i wasn't expecting at all. I've been eating more than i Have done for years recently so maybe i genuinely did need to be eating more. either way, i'm pleased and I hope i do lose some more but we'll see

One coping in this heat can be a struggle sometimes.

Shop my hairdresser uses colours without ammonia and alcohol and my hair is in so much better condition and the colour lasts for ages - (including highlights in the days i had them.) If you look on the website there is a list of hairdressers that use it. Link here

So, I’m going to S France for a long weekend (thurs-Mon) and party Saturday, informal dinner on Thurs. I’ve sorted out my capsule wardrobe (Ryanair teeny luggage allowance) and am feeling proud of how small it is (for now).

I’m taking:

Gold Gigis
Red K Geiger suede pointy heels for party
Body con silk multi floral Whistles dress for party
Boden Chambray shift
Gap navy linen short halter neck dress for informal dinner
Gap boyfriend shorts
Halterneck floral (with red) top
Red Longchamps bag for day
Trusty Rebecca Minkoff tan clutch
I’ll travel in white jeans
One other top that will go with white jeans/shorts

Think everything mixes and matches. Nothing new because I don’t wear out my summer stuff and love what I have already.
Will have red gel nails.

Getting very excited indeed.

Dry not really. Sat in hairdressers having roots done, waxing and eyelash lift and tint tomorrow, nails Thursday. Think I have everything just not very well thought through. I have a case to check in though so can take a few outfit choices.
We leave 3.30am on friday - not looking forward to the early start.

Ooo exciting shop, not long to go! My holiday prep isn’t basically a bikini wax! I do my own nails and a bit of fake tan if I can be bothered. Am tempted by eyelash tint but never get round to it. 3.30am pick up is harsh.

I ordered this white dress from hush. As recommended on the hush thread, I sized down to an 8. The dress is nice but the fabric is quite thin and the top is unlined so a bit see through, and it does feel quite expensive for what it is. However I think I’ll keep it as I think it will be good for holidays and as a general casual day dress. I was hoping i could wear it out for low key nights out, but I think it’s probably a bit too casual for that.
