Today I've got on:

  • cream Elle McPherson bra and thong (getting a bit ancient, bra was a soft model I bought to breastfeed with two years ago)
  • See by Chloé smock top
  • green Fat Face fatigues
  • gold LK Bennett flip flops
  • dusky pink cotton Ventilo cardigan

Also - Reverso watch, gold Chaumet bracelet, pearl and diamond studs, purple bead necklace.

My daughter (2.6) has got on:

  • Petit Bateau vest
  • Gap boot cut jeans
  • Gap white socks
  • Pink bandana Supergas
  • brown Bonpoint long-sleeved t-shirt
  • pink camouflage sun hat

Am now in jimjams but today I wore green M&S trousers, white Top Shop shirt and cream M&S pumps.

Ds2 wore striped Mothercare t-shirt and blue shorts.

I just wanted to know what SAHMs and SAH children look like in the privacy of their own homes... curiosity...

My daughter has lots of nappy-only days, and we went through a pyjama phase ie she refused to wear anything but pyjamas at home.

Ummm...its a day off today and I'm wearing DH's PJs which I hope to stay in until at least 10am. DS is wearing a nappy and vest and a splattering of readybrek.

Ye gods.......

mozhe · 25/05/2007 11:58

Anna ! Shame on you....get over to some serious threads and improve yourself woman

sauce · 25/05/2007 12:00

Jeans & a t-shirt, shorts & a t-shirt, that sort of thing... I never drift around in pjs - so depressing. The dc are the same, although they'd happily stay in their pjs all day if I let them.

Anna8888 · 25/05/2007 12:11

mozhe - no, clothes at home is serious business in my book...

So is there a fashion difference between SAH and non SAH kids that I don;t know about?

I've missed the whole point of this then?

My DD wears the clothes to nursery that she has already wrecked at home. I think this "in the privacy of their own homes" thing is a bit odd. How many of the SAHMs haven't been anywhere. Even when my DD is not at nursery, she has to come with me to take DS to school, then if it is Friday has a swimming lesson, or we might have other plans etc. Today DD wore a leotard, short socks and doodles (apart from the hour she was dancing) until lunchtime. And then after lunch a dark pink party dress covered in sequins with pink mothercare flipflops until she realised they were not really practical and then white umi sandals. DS wore beige linen shorts from Next with a checked shirt and blue clarks sandals. In the morning I wore aqua linen 3/4s from New Look, white vest from H&M, purple short sleeve smock type top from Primark and turquoise flipflops from Next. In the afternoon I wore brown red herring city shorts, white and beige blouse from Next and gold flipflops from Matalan. I am such a classy label person.

I dress a bit smart boho, with a pob hairstyle.

Ds(5) in linens and big shirts or skater style depending on what we are doing. (cant ruin the linen in the park now can we)?

Earlier today ;

Me : New Look smock top (to cover belly), old Gap jeans, Adidas trainers. Glammed up with Tiffany necklace & Gucci jeans.

DD : Next J-Lo's (as DH calls them) and Tesco top. All class!, but DD looks beautiful whatever (don't beleive in spending £15 on Brora socks when can fit her out in Tesco/H&M and she looks just as cute)
