If you buy clothes online which websites do you shop from and how much do you spend a month?

I am a big online shopper and particularly love the 'bargain' websites such as asos and very.co.uk, particularly the clothes on sale.

I think I have a bit of a full blown shopping addiction but can just about afford it because everything I buy is relatively cheap and I don't do anything else (no drinking, smoking, meals out, no secret drug habit although a bit of a secret chocolate habit). Also I do all of the housework in our house and I work so use my spare money to pay myself for all the tasks I do with clothes, that's another justification.

I spend about £220 a month give or take.

How much do you spend?

I have been keeping a record of my spending. Last year I spent £175 pcm and bought 3-4 items a month. I lost a lot of weight though so had to replace all skirts and trousers. This year I've spent less so far and bought fewer things (~1.5 pcm).

I like ASOS, but also the less bonkers stuff from Gudrun Sjoden and about Seasalt.

I probably spend about £300/year though!

I buy a lot online, and depends on what I feel is missing from my wardrobe and how much needs replacing. Right now I'm looking for a blazer that might smarten up a pair of jeans and heels I can wear on a night out. Also looking for good shirts and blouses. While looking, I get distracted by other things, such as a t-shirt, or an inexpensive pair of earrings. Actually I am in the midst of replacing almost everything.
Last month I spent £300, this month so far £250ish. A big buy I might need soonish is a medium sized tote bag, that holds its structure well and can fit all my stuff in it.

As my name suggests i have a big tinge shopping addiction n i order stuff and don't even remember it by the time it arrives... trying to cut down but easily spend 300-400£ a month. Usually buy from Debenhams, HoF, Sainsbury etc. My closet has no space n i can't get rid of clothes... someone stop me

I buy stuff from h and m, next, ASOS and George at Asda. I don’t spend much as I don’t have much to spend! Maybe £30-50 a month. I’ve just bought myself some birkenstocks from the sale on ASOS for £42 so that’s my treat for the month!

I’m addicted to everything5pounds.com, obviously the stuff is cheap so I don’t feel so bad ordering from there. I also like George and Matalan atm. I probably spend around £80 a month on clothes.

Forgot to say where I buy stuff: COS, ASOS (not necessarily the cheap option, last thing I bought there was a Hugo Boss silk shirt), Boden, M&S, Jigsaw. Plus shoe shops, everything from £5 espadrilles from Primark to gorgeous £200 shoes from Rogue Matilda.

Asos and Zara - perhaps £60 a month if that. I spend a lot more on handbags which is a habit I'm trying to cut down on. I seem to want to buy every colour Longchamp Pillage bag going

I only shop on line. Cos, Toast, Uniqlo and Hush (only in the sales). 2 big shops a year - often £500 a time, but I do return a lot, so prob averages out at £600 a year. I buy anything I need in between from ebay or hush.

Probably between £50 and £200 a month? Usually from Asos and Zara.

How do you people spending £200+/month manage to wear all the new stuff? I'd never spend that much in a year!

Argh. Etsy.com (for the vintage). Spend about £300 a month on one midcentury item. So not many clothes (and I do save into pension savings, normal savings each month etc.) But beautiful clothes are just my thing.

Should still try to cut down though - it's so silly: I take my breakfast and lunch every day into work, am constantly shopping and switching for the best utility deals etc. etc. but somehow I am a fool when it comes to clothes.

Next mostly, their skinny jeans and plain T-Shirts fit me best (I’m rarely found in anything else) with the odd cardigan/hoodie chucked in.
Recently been spending more as I’ve been bed bound unwell and have a holiday coming up so kitted the whole family out.

Gap, Poetry, Wrap and Seasalt here more often than not. I only shop online, usually buy reduced stuff. Formal workwear is generally Hobbs, probably £1,200 a year.

Plus I always buy a work dress for an annual function and spend £200.

I don't have a huge selection of clothes and wear out what I do have generally.

About £500 a month... I usually buy mid-range designer clothes though. Like £150 pair of shoes, £200 top, etc. I treasure them more if they're pricey.

Depends on loads of different things really - I like to wear new stuff for work. Plus sometimes £200 could buy me one thing or sometimes £40 could buy me three things, depends on what I'm planning. I just love new clothes really and get the itch if I haven't had anything new for a month or so.

I'm not sure. I did a clear out recently so I could see where the "gaps" were (going out stuff).

Wasteful of what, though? It keeps people employed, keeps shops open on the high street, keeps crops grown, keeps whole industries and even countries going...

I like clothes, and don't often buy a tonne of stuff for £300. I might just buy one or two things. Next month my spend may be over £1,000. But I need a new tote bag and like them to last, and look nice. I like nice things. It makes me happy.

i don't understand why it bothers certain posters how much others spend. I'm not spending your money, it is my own hard earned $. You spend as little or as much as you want, none of my business. Do what makes you happy, and I will do me.

I order a lot (tall, so clothes have to be from tall ranges not in shops, and lots of sizes as vanity sizing has hit tall ranges hard) but most of it goes back. This month I ordered £550 clothes and kept £50. I probably spend £400 a year on clothes as nothing fits in shops, or online...
