They won't secretly hate you as long as you're honest, I recently asked at a Charlotte tilbury counter about it and they said it was fine but either you pay £35 or buy products to that value, I expect different places have diffe rent rules/prices or if you just explain you want help they might just do it out of the kindness of their hearts. Lisa Eldridge does good, classic make up tutorials. I am rubbish at make up but find her ones easy to follow and effective
