I love this from Reiss—-

Something that dressy could have a little leather jacket for the outdoor chill very sexy, cool, chic. My 3 adjectives I strive for!

Lotsofsausage · 06/06/2018 19:58

the fleece shrug thing looks cheap, sure you could find a long blazer or a cropped fur jacket to put on outside, depending on your style

Lotsofsausage · 06/06/2018 20:02

or a velvet cropped blazer .... or a cropped embroidered jacket....

villainousbroodmare · 06/06/2018 20:17

Atalune those are both gorgeous

SleepFreeZone · 06/06/2018 20:40

That Reiss dress is absolutely beautiful.

WhiskeySourpuss · 06/06/2018 20:41

@Atalune does that ASOS dress come in black or navy? It's lovely but the pinky colour is too light for work!

OP with your figure I'd go for something more fitted & definitely not the orange - it's awful sorry Blush

HappyHedgehog247 · 06/06/2018 20:45

I like the blue one! You’ve got a great figure.

BrazzleDazzleDay · 06/06/2018 21:05

I love the orange dress, not keen on fluffy stuff though so the shrugs not my cup of tea. But you know, its what YOU are comfortable in. Blue dress is absolutely lovely too.

BlueKittens · 06/06/2018 21:09

I don’t like the first outfit - it’s not very flattering on your good figure and doesn’t look comfortable either

The second blue dress is so gorgeous and really suits you. It also looks classy enough for an award ceremony

Atalune · 06/06/2018 21:10

I don’t think it’s a work event, but I stand by the Reiss dress, it will look top dollar!

Atalune · 06/06/2018 21:10

whiskeypuss that was to you...

But op- is it a work do?

KarmaStar · 06/06/2018 21:16

Hi OP
You have a lovely figure, sorry but neither dress do you justice imho.
The first a definite no,the second better but not the right style for you so looks a bit frumpy(sorry)
There are some lovely pp suggestions,I hope you find one with the wow factor and have a lovely time!

GinIsIn · 06/06/2018 21:18

Honestly neither of those dresses are remotely nice or flattering. And I’m sorry but the hairy bolero thing needs to be burned! You have a lovely figure, don’t wear things that make you look older and bigger than you are. A v neck and a cap sleeve will help to balance out your chest, ideally in a length just below the knee.

BigFatBloomers · 06/06/2018 21:23

Sadly these Bombshell dresses are beyond your budget but I think you’d look amazing in one. They quite often come up on eBay if you could work out your size.

WhiskeySourpuss · 06/06/2018 21:41

Atalune I meant for me to wear to work Smile I'll check it out

Atalune · 06/06/2018 21:44

Oh I see! Ha Grin

Good oh!

MrsT4 · 06/06/2018 22:09

Yes to both of @Atalune suggestions. Gorgeous and much better colours for summer.

I don't like either of those dresses at all, I'm
Sorry. They are really frumpy and you've a gorgeous figure and skin.

EllenLydia · 06/06/2018 22:21

Thanks everyone. It is lovely to come back to all your advice. I love the dress Atalune suggested I see what you mean about younger and fresher. However I couldn’t see myself it that colour as my hair is the colour of the first dress!
I think I might push the boat on the BigFatBloomers bombshell dress. I hope I wouldn’t be attention seeking in it.
Thanks again.

The bombshell dresses are amazing. My friend has two. She has fulsome cleavage but/and looks great in them.

I don't think you've mentioned your size but there are a few currently on ebay.

Try to google casual smart female / woman

Don't go against your style, but embrace it in a classy way.

Pinktails · 07/06/2018 10:17

Those dresses are lovely, @BigFatBloomers
I think you'll look amazing in one of the Bombshell dresses, op.
