Orange dress, different cover up for later?

Do you have a fitted little jacket?
Pashmina or shawl?

Is it very formal??

EllenLydia · 06/06/2018 18:13

Here I am in normal clothes. I am not good at formal.

The navy one!

BlueUggs · 06/06/2018 18:14

Deffo the blue. Looks lovely.

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 06/06/2018 18:15

Navy, definitely.

EllenLydia · 06/06/2018 18:16

Not in a photographic studio but I have worn these for other events where the guests were photographed.

How old are you? Hard to tell from the pics, but the casual one has me guessing at 40s, in which case the blue dress might be ok. If you're younger, then both the dresses are a bit frumpy and you could do with something younger and fresher.

ApolloandDaphne · 06/06/2018 18:26

Don't like the orange one with the shrug. The blue one is lovely.

Gah81 · 06/06/2018 18:27

Agree with PP. Furry shrug not brilliant. Cut of the orange dress could be more flattering to what looks like a great bust line (lucky you!).

Navy is better but the neckline is too high for you. If you look at the normal clothing picture, the neckline is lower and it suits you more.

Atalune · 06/06/2018 18:27

Amazing figure, great tits.bthe fashion world is your oyster!

Budget?

EllenLydia · 06/06/2018 18:32

£150 I probably don’t need shoes.
Dresses are a struggle due to unruly breasts.

The first one is really not good, I'm sorry, the second much better but still a little frumpy.

Lulu1919 · 06/06/2018 18:37

Prefer blue one
Shrug too thick/ heavy looking 😀

EllenLydia · 06/06/2018 18:37

Love the username. Bluntness.
Thanks for all the useful input. I don’t feel lovely.
The navy dress isn’t mine sadly.

You have a fabulous figure!
I don't love either outfit but prefer the navy dress. Could you tie the ribbon without the big bow?

SirVixofVixHall · 06/06/2018 18:39

You are a lovely shape and the orange dress is too high waisted, probably because your bust is lifting it. The navy is better , it is very nice but slightly too big. Have a look here
www.saintbustier.com to get ideas on formal wear for your sort of shape.

The blue dress is lovely. Is that you in it?

SirVixofVixHall · 06/06/2018 18:42

You’d look good in one of their palazzo jumpsuits or fitted dresses.

BubblesBuddy · 06/06/2018 18:43

I think the blue one is fine. It’s classic. Make sure you jazz it up with sparkly earrings and maybe silver bag and shoes. A good hairdo goes a long way too.

Naughtysausage · 06/06/2018 18:52

Have you looked at bravissimo's evening dresses? They're surprisingly good - this is better that the navy dress.

The blue one looks quite 'wintery' - could potentially be rather warm!

NovBaby · 06/06/2018 18:54

I'd recommend going to one of the big department stores- house of fraser, Debenhams. And getting an appointment with free personal shopper.
No pressure to buy and really help with styles, colours etc.
I found it really helpful x

Bombardier25966 · 06/06/2018 18:57

Can I suggest a bra intervention? booborbust.com

You've a great figure and wonderful colouring, but your boobs are making you look bigger than you are.

(And I've just looked in the mirror and realised I need to take my own advice!)

Atalune · 06/06/2018 19:30

Something like this- tailored and uou can still wear a bra, in a lighter colour, for the summer.
