As the title says, I never ever had tits, then I did, after kids they went up to a D, the rest of my body remained unchanged,it was ok (ish), I have never worn a bra, they were fine, but they've grown again (peri or summat? Don't know), and now they're an E/F they are bloody huge and all my clothes just fall down from them.

A) Should I get a bra at the age of 44? I've never worn one before but they are now like massive bullets projecting out from my chest.

B) What the fuck do I wear? All my clothes look weird as they're all tailored to a fairly flat-chested triangle. I do look as though I'm thrusting missiles in everyone's face atm...

Help!!

Happened to me too. From eternal a cup to an f during mid 40's. I got fitted at bravissimo and I do have correctly sized bras that I wear mostofthetime when I leave the house but I still cba to wear one when I'm slobbing about. I don't like how they feel, I much prefer the freedom. Unfortunately I have also developed a thicker waist and love handles.

Poppy et al.

It's bloody shite.

Nope Flo I've got a long body as well as long legs. There's nothing hidden.

Sadly.

Dammit. Sorry. Get those long legs out then. Maybe start a thread about shorts in your 40s - it's been a while since we've had a good one. Wink

ILikeyourHairyHands · 25/05/2018 12:25

JCrew chino shorts.

No need for a thread.

TBH I'm all about the dresses these days.

Loving the pic ....but may need one from a different angle 😁. F cup breasts that don’t need a bra in your forties? Go on tell us ....how much did you pay? Seriously same thing happened to my mother in law and she still tends to wear high necks, because style wise she still thinks she is a leggy beanpole. It looks a bit frumpy. You need to balance out your body by wearing low cut tops and I would spend a day shopping and try a lot of different shapes. Once you get the shape right you can work with that. Fifties dresses 👗 would suit your shape if you are slim elsewhere. I would second Bravisimo for the bra fitting as well. Oh and before anyone else says I am sure your husband knows exactly what to do with them!!

ILikeyourHairyHands · 25/05/2018 13:26

Ha! He does Queen, he keeps wibbling them.

They still look small to me considering they're an f cup but then again, I only have a 32" rib cage measurement. Sometimes I go for a 34e instead depending on how it feels, particularly with bikinis. Oh how I miss wearing triangle bikini tops Sad. Plus I've got fatter everywhere else so mine don't look to out of proportion I suppose. Still weird having to rethink dressing with such a shape change though.

Have you put on a lot of weight recently? If not, it's worth getting your hormones etc checked to make sure there's no medical reason behind the sudden growth.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 25/05/2018 14:10

I have Euro, I have exceedingly chunked up in the last six months. I've gone from an 8 to a 12ish, never put on weight before.

I am thinking thyroid. Or just middle age.
