Clarins tan drops - any tips?

WipsGlitter · 11/04/2018 18:49

Am planning to put one drop in my moisturiser on Friday morning. Apply to face / neck / back of neck and sweep to décolletage.

Am worried it's going to look noticeable / have white bits like badly applied fake tan / be streaky / orange!!!

Why did I even buy it?? 😂😂

Lol oh my god I was near to chucking mine in the bin - I didn't know you had to press the siding thing on the bottom?! Where does it tell you that! I've been shaking mine to death and get frustrated!!! Doh!!

nevereverhaveieverfeltsolow · 13/04/2018 16:54

Sodding not siding

I have been using this for about a month since my mil bought it for me. It has made not a jot of difference.

Scarftown · 14/04/2018 09:21

I brought Some fromduty free yesterday as realis DS how much better I look with a little hint of colour than my normal pale ness. Start using it tomorrow.

eloisesparkle · 14/04/2018 09:50

Benny that's strange. Perhaps you are not as pale as me as it does make a difference to my fair skinned legs.

WipsGlitter · 14/04/2018 11:45

I tried two drops yesterday and it made no difference. Did another 2/3 today and there is a definite difference!! Subtle and no streaking.

I didn’t think it was making any difference at first, but turns out that it was working, just very gradually. In fact when I saw some friends after the Easter break they asked if I’d been skiing as I had such a great tan Grin

Timefortea99 · 15/04/2018 12:21

Anyone tried the M & S version? They are rumoured to be made by Clarins.

Orangesandlemons82 · 19/04/2018 22:00

I bought the body one today and have just put some on. I guess it takes a few days to build up? I used 4 drops today, but might try more tomorrow. I'm so pale and don't want to look orange!

Scarftown · 20/04/2018 13:23

I have been using the body one (not every day) but I can see a definite subtle skin colour. And it’s a little orange on my finger nails lol. I use 4 drops for my top half and then same again for my bottoms half

eloisesparkle · 20/04/2018 18:52

I streak the Clarins drops Sad

katmunchkin · 21/04/2018 08:04

Can anyone post a link to these please - I ordered what I thought you were all talking about but mine don't seem to match the descriptions here!

Orangesandlemons82 · 21/04/2018 08:23

Sorry don't think link works. It's called golden glow booster for body and is £27

eloisesparkle · 21/04/2018 08:27

This.
You push the BASE of the bottle to get the drops out to put them onto your body or face moisturiser.

iamawoman · 21/04/2018 21:30

i bought this last year - am now going to look for the dropper as i didnt know it had one - have been shaking and sometimes ended up too brown!

EliseC1965 · 21/04/2018 22:01

I’ve been using this ever since it came out. I’m sort of a yellow colour anyway, mixed race/Indian heritage and it really makes a difference in making me golden iyswim?

Peeps at work have already commented on the touch of colour after only 3 days of sun :)

CallarMorvern · 21/04/2018 22:11

Anyone tried the M&S version? They are rumoured to be made by Clarins

I looked at these last year, really wanted to like them as Clarins are a major, major extravagance for me. But I was put off by the 3 different parabens in the M&S ones, I doubt they are made by Clarins.

DarkDarkNight · 21/04/2018 22:31

Intrigued by this, I have given up on fake tans as I can not apply the proper stuff or gradual tanners without streaks and patchy bits despite following all the usual tips.
