These are mine, the yellow gold square sapphire & diamond is my engagement ring which we choose together in Malta, my wedding ring is a yellow gold eternal knot bound by white gold bands (DH has a matching one), the simple diamond and sapphire band in white gold is my eternity ring. I love all my rings and would be completely lost without them.

This is mine. DF designed it himself and had it made. It's platinum & diamond - very heavy. I love it 😁

Mine is very simple. Ashamed to say I rejected my original as it had emeralds and wanted something plain/modest and traditional

Mine looks odd without the wedding ring it was designed as a set and I love that as it was something I had always liked when the two rings sit together.

I always dreaded DH choosing my ring because he's got form for some seriously ostentatious jewellery which is so not me. When he proposed with this I was very happy as it's a simple cut with platinum band.

OublietteBravo - your ring is pretty much identical to the one I have, which was my grandmother's (must have been bought in 1940 before my grandfather went off to war). I love it and wear it on my right hand as I'm not engaged but she left it to me with instructions it was to be worn, not kept in a box. Funnily enough, I'm actually in Lancaster, but the ring wasn't bought or made here. I can't take a photo right now though as I somehow lost a diamond from it before Christmas and my mother has taken it so she can get it replaced.

My engagement ring is amethyst with diamond chips which we found in a vintage shop in a small town in Scotland. My wedding ring was my great grandmother's.

Both engagement ring and wedding band! it’s a 1920’s daisy diamond cluster ring and the band is a wishbone 9crt in yellow gold I love my sparkly finger!

My rings have evolved over time. My original engagement ring was chosen in 1990, princess cut solitaire (quite unusual at the time) set diamond shaped rather than square. Wedding ring was shaped to fit exactly with it. 14 years after I got engaged dh surprised me with an eternity ring, on the birth of our twins. Problem was it couldn't be worn with the other two as it just didn't fit. Our solution was to reset the diamond into a new ring. Photo attached. Then this Christmas, another 14 years on, I was window shopping for ideas for dd's 21st and saw a lovely princess cut solitaire at a bargain price. The stone was second hand, from a brooch, and had been made into a ring. Owed a 50th birthday present, we bought it and had my original diamond made into a pendant which dd designed, for her 21st.

I'm not one who thinks that only the original rings are special. I love that the rings have evolved over time and that my daughter now has her unique piece of jewellery with my original stone.

Here’s mine. 1.4ct emerald cut emerald with yellow gold band. There are disappointingly few good quality emeralds to be seen in most jewellers, but somehow there was this one, and everything about the design is perfectly ‘me’.

I adore it and still can hardly believe it’s mine. Picture taken on the day he proposed, when the ring was still too big and my hands were looking grim. It’s really hard to capture the colour of the emerald accurately!
