Can anyone recommend a style blogger/instagrammer who isn't rich and smug?

Every one I come across seems to have loads of money and is seemingly very smug about it.

Can anyone please recommend any style bloggers or instagrammers that aren’t like this?

I find it depressing to read the rich and smug blogs!

I hope you feel better now you’ve got that off your chest. TBH I’m not a fan of the fashion insta people myself, but that’s because I just don’t get fashion.

After that character assassination it seems to be DMBL40 you seem to have a particular issue with, not just her IG account. Can I just say that I’ve never really interacted with her but have ‘known’ her from back in the days of Handbag and Damsels, so going back to the early 2000’s and she hasn’t change. She’s not fake she is who she is, flaws and all like the rest of us (except you of course).

It’s very easy to have a go at anyone, you hardly come across well yourself. But you won’t be reading this will you 🙄

Nuff said.

I've reported that post as it's just a personal bithchfest.

Lexora, one of the most jealous laden, horrible posts I’ve seen on Mumsnet. I don’t know the lady you are talking about but that level of personal vitriol is totally unwarranted.

The DM woman sounds dreadful.

I have trawled through many of the big name, highly monetised ones that all seem to be fairly homogenous but have found one that ticks many of my boxes! @backofthewardrobe70. She only really posts her outfits, not links, she is a bit older, works and has 4 children that she seems to raise without too much drama. Agree about MidlifeChic- she is much more "grown up" and polished than me but she writes well and has created a community as opposed to a fan base.

I would like to say, if I’m allowed that the Nuff said at the of my post was to copy and mock the now deleted post. I may post nonsense myself from time to time but I don’t want people thinking I end posts saying Nuff said 😳

The Style Bureau is good.

I also really rate Poppy Dinsey. Her blog started out being fashion and beauty and then diversified into more general lifestyle, think pieces etc.
She now has twin baby boys so that's added a whole new dimension

Following this as want to start keeping an eye on these

I really like Erica Davies.
