I have tried on every skirt in the known universe and this was the nicest.

I have bought it.

As you were.

ah. it's a t-shirt.
what beads do you own?

LittleEasterLapin · 06/04/2007 16:53

Franny, I got the one in the picture - "Hot Pink Folk Floral" .

The skirt looks as though it has a lot of navy in it - will black not clash? I love navy, much kinder to the skin than black, yet still slimming - hurrah!

FrannyandZooey · 06/04/2007 16:56

Aitch I don't know, just in brown and navy I look like a frumpy old frump from Frumpton

I think there are too many colours on there for me to wear red shoes (I do have some). The pink is quite pink and the orange is quite orange...

Anyway, this is now my Best Skirt for the whole summer, so tell me what accaessories to look out fo another time. I will try to get some beads to go with it, definitely

LL fox and I have decided no-one will notice

DON@T PANIC ME NOW FFS

Hot pink Folk floral is the nicest

Aitch I don't know. I think I may just wear it as it is, it is fairly jazzy for a children's party just as is

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 16:59

fuck it, try the red shoes on, go mad. so long as you have other red accessories on at neck and wrists then it'll just be another colour. not black, please, not until you've at least tried red. it's going to be all sunny tomorrow.

and ll, well i just agree with you on everything.

FrannyandZooey · 06/04/2007 16:59

on the other thread everyone said I could wear it with a black top

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 06/04/2007 17:00

As it's you Aitch, I will try them

mynew chat thread is slipping down the active convos at a fair rate of knots...

you can wear whatever you want, frank. you will look lovely in your new skirt, it is very nice. and you are right, dress it up or down (although i say UP). don't you have any red betty rubble beads?

LittleEasterLapin · 06/04/2007 17:01

You know what, you will definitely get away with it cos it's so sunny

AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:02

oh

AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:03

i just said about the sunny, ll, we do agree on everything...

LittleEasterLapin · 06/04/2007 17:03

Aitchster, in a sort of shark and remora symbiosis, I have bumped your other thread

We are indoors

in a draughty church hall

I may have to wear tights

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:08

footless, i hope?

AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:09

actually, black tends to look navy-ish in strong sunlight.

FrannyandZooey · 06/04/2007 17:10

I have considered the footless ones actually

I think they would look cool

if it is really freezing I will do it

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 06/04/2007 17:11

yes

about the navy that is

I always find that

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:27

i think i'm right in saying that a true black pigment does not exist when it comes to fabric, that everythign exists in shades of blue... which becomes more apparent in sunlight. james bond's tux is blue, for example. although it is at least not pretending to be black. my dh never wears black, since marc jacobs told him not to. (true story)

LittleEasterLapin · 06/04/2007 17:31
AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:34

or was i mark jacobs, the guy who lives down the road?

my friend did once buy a dodgy designer watch by Gavin Klein. that's heaps better than calvin, isn't it?

LittleEasterLapin · 06/04/2007 17:38

LOL! Like, umm, Sheila MacCartney. And Alexander McKing.

AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:42

what about jim galliano, i've heard he's very good.

LittleEasterLapin · 06/04/2007 17:46

AitchTwoOh · 06/04/2007 17:50
