Title says it all!

OP posts:

Oasis, I love dresses, skater and fit and flare. I go for lace, flowers, birds and butterflies. I wear skinny jeans to but my legs are long so it can be a bugger to get a good fit, I like long tshirts and tops under long cardys.
My favorite look is a dress with a roll neck underneath and knee high suede boots with a faux fur coat! Grin

Petalflowers · 02/09/2017 18:59

My 'looks' are either hippy boho, or breton/nautical. Think Mantaray or Maine from Debenhams, although I don't often shop there. My clothes are from M and S, Next, Boden.

BusterGonad · 02/09/2017 19:42

I love 60s looking clothes, A line dresses, patch pockets, kitten heels and suede, Flared sleeves and anything a bit retro looking. It sounds a bit vile written down but it's what I like!

Fwend · 02/09/2017 19:47

eBay.

Champagne taste; lemonade budget.

I like preppy/classic clothes in natural fibres, but there's not much like that on the high street.

Gah81 · 02/09/2017 19:47

40s and 50s vintage or style. Hourglass, nipped waists, fitted jackets, pencil skirts and crisp shirts. Autumnal colours: caramel, mustard, chocolate. With a definite dramatic edge (sweeping capes, stand up collars, structured shoulders)

Shop at: Hobbs for shoes, Massimo Dutti for separates, etsy for original vintage.

Style - ermmm .. none Blush

BusterGonad · 02/09/2017 19:51

I've learnt to wear what makes me happy, I spent too many years trying to fit into fashions and now I just think fuck it, I like it, I'm going to bloody wear it! 😂

NicolasFlamel · 02/09/2017 19:53

I like jeans, leggings, lots of layers, casual sweater/vest dresses with tights and odd tie dye things but no other patterns or prints really. I don't like skirts and blouses or anything fitted. I'm a fan of ASOS at the moment.

Want2beme · 02/09/2017 20:10

I wear mostly straight jeans in various colours, longish tops, long cardis and scarves most of the year. Ballet pumps, plimsoles, ankle boots and long boots. I love mid-thigh to knee length wide or straight coats, parkas, pacamacs, duster coats, rain coats, rain macs. I'd really like to wear skirts and dresses but I think that they don't suit me. I prefer plain as opposed to patterns. I made a decision earlier this year, that I'd wear less black and introduce more navy blue and I have to say, this works better for me, being pale. I shop in New Look, Zara, Dunnes, F&F, Monsoon, Mango Violeta and other local boutiques.

I aspire to dress like Mathildes Verden. I'm still working on it!

I'd say my wardrobe is 40% boden, 40% primark and 20% Tesco/Sainsbury's/Asda
Style is preppy

rockinnrollin · 02/09/2017 20:23

My style is a bit of a "rock chick" sort of look. Sheer black blouse, skinny black jeans or if I'm going out-out, matte leather skinnies and heels. On casual days I'll wear a band t-shirt and Converse. And at work I try to keep a bit of my style while looking smart. I shop mainly at H&M, Dorothy Perkins, M&S, and River Island.

Callamia · 02/09/2017 20:28

OCSockOrphanage · 02/09/2017 20:51

MY style is well dressed 60. I like clothes for teenagers, enviously, but wouldn't wear them. But not beige or boring. So I aim for the route between. Now it means much more expensive basics and realising that that the cheap thrills are only to be worn a few times, and selectively. I buy much less than I used to, but spend more for each piece. I like to think I could attend any event, bar a Hollywood red carpet do, without shopping.

CountFosco · 02/09/2017 20:55

No idea about my style. I was very Boden through my 30s but post children and now mid 40s and slimmer than I've been since my 20s I'm changing my style again. Don't believe anything is constant in fashion.

I wear flat shoes (shoeaholic with 30+ pairs), ankle skimmers and slouchy tops or widelegged trousers with trainers and more fitted tops for work mainly (losing weight means I now happily tuck tops in which I didn't do even in my 20s when I was very grungy).

But for work I still like a dress or skirt sometimes (hourglass so a well fitting dress always looks most 'flattering') and last year rediscovered my legs so love a mini (as a shortarse the proportions work much better for me).

In the last year I've shopped at COS, La Redoute, Jigsaw, ASOS, Hush, NEXT, Primark, Precis, Mint Velvet, GAP, Biba, and M&S.

Greenvalleymama · 02/09/2017 21:23

My style is practical with a country/ horsey vibe in the day time (slim fit/ skinny jeans with either muck boots, black chelsea boots or tan leather country boots and a slim fitting shirt under a fine knit jumper and a tweedy blazer or ancient waterproof depending on the weather).

I have a few printed and boucle jackets (mostly from H&M or Zara) which I wear instead of the blazer.

In the summer it's just skinny jeans or long jean shorts, a vest top and sandals.

I shop anywhere from Sainsburys to Selfridges depending on budget/ time available etc. I prefer to spend more on shoes and jackets, and will happily spend hundreds on a good pair of boots. I get my jeans from M&S because I like the fit of their mid rise jeans, they hold my muffin top in!

rightknockered · 02/09/2017 21:40

Mine is slightly overdressed, I like to wear metallics and bright colours during the day, an evening going out out dress with trainers/boots. Either that or clothes I can just fall asleep in. I have no in-between

rightknockered · 02/09/2017 21:42

Oh I shop at Allsaints, Whistles, Toast, sometimes Hush, sometimes H and M, lots of second-hand.

rightknockered · 02/09/2017 21:43

Oh and Zara.

lurkingfromhome · 02/09/2017 21:54

Skinnies, (faux) leather skinnies, tube skirts, vest tops, long cardies, slouchy jumpers, blouses, slightly shapeless dresses, blazers, Zara bouclé jackets, parkas, fake fur coats, thick tights, ankle boots, Adidas trainers, Converse, knee boots.

Shop in Cos, Zara, H&M, Primark, Hush, with occasional finds in French Connection, M&S, Jigsaw, Toast, Sainsbury's.

Suzietwo · 02/09/2017 22:37

I realised today that my day to day style is excessively boring. I live in jeans and t shirts. Cotton mostly. 4 kids aged 1-7 and living in the country do that to a girl

Work wise I try and keep things more interesting but spend a lot of time in court shifts

smellybeanpole · 02/09/2017 22:42

I'm very eclectic. Whatever takes my fancy really. Mostly ebay tk maxx river island mango zara.

sortingmyselfoutslowly · 02/09/2017 23:02

Ebay

sortingmyselfoutslowly · 02/09/2017 23:04

My style is relaxed. I like Fat Face, White Stuff and Seasalt. Chinos with boat neck tops and plimsolls, jumpers with denim dirt and thick tights, short dresses with leggings etc. Birkenstocks for summer with denim shorts. Hate high heels although I'm 5 ft 1!

sortingmyselfoutslowly · 02/09/2017 23:05

Denim SKIRT
