What jewellery are you wearing at the moment?

I'm not wearing any apart from occasionally earrings on a night out as I have no idea what is in. I find jewellery dates very quickly so don't usually spend a lot. What should I get/what do you wear? Nothing too fashionable eg chokers as I would look daft (wrong side of 50) but something up to date.

I don't wear any jewellery apart from my wedding and engagement rings every day. If I'm at work (teaching) I wear an apple watch.

DH bought me some beautiful antique diamond studs a few years back which I wore often but I've managed to lose the back off of one so they're in storage.

My Mum is a jewellery sort and always has such beautiful stuff, but I never find anything that suits me. I'm very un-frilly though, usually in skinny jeans and a shirt, so I don't think jewellery is my thing.

Whoo if you take your earrings to a jeweller with a workshop or a goldsmiths they should be able to make a new back.

On the subject of watches I didn't mention my Fitbit as it isn't pretty so I don't think of it as jewellery. Can anyone recommend a fitness tracker that is attractive?

In the house all day today, so just my Tiffany 'T' bracelet and wedding ring, both of which I never take off.

I feel bizarrely self conscious wearing necklaces or bracelets. I have loads of inexpensive ones my rarely wear them.

Jewelry: everyday is my thin gold wedding ring and inherited Victorian engagement ring which DHs grandmother had as an anniversary present some time mid 20th C. Also usually some of : interesting silver or gold vermeil handmade earrings; a semi precious beaded necklace; a bigger cabuchon stone ring on right hand. My very flat stainless steel watch.

I usually wear my silver Tiffany tear drop studs, very practical but pretty. I also wear a large silver Tiffany key on a long chain but I find necklaces irritate my neck after a while even if they're gold or silver. On my right hand I wear a silver knot ring and on my left I wear my white gold wedding band. I usually wear silver bangles too although I have massive hands so have to search hard to find ones that fit.

I have some 22ct Indian gold pieces, including my big wedding set. Its beautiful but very soft so is easily damaged, I only wear it occasionally. Plus I think it can look gaudy on my English skin, it suits darker skin tones more but it feels very special when I do wear it because it is so intricate and unique.

Silver & gold earrings - they have 5 tiny silver hearts & 2 tiny gold hearts in a circle which I love to think represents my DH & I and our 5 boys.
Silver Pandora bracelet which my DH and sons bought for my 40th a while ago. I'm building up the charms over time but with only ones that have special meaning e.g. 40 with a 4 leaf clover, the Infinity symbol, hearts from my boys, a cow for my childhood, the blue hand print for my boys as babies, Best Mum heart, pink stone as pink roses are my favourite flowers, the Fleur-de-lis as I'm a Scout leader, etc

Wedding and engagement rings.

I have pierced ears but I wear earrings so infrequently that I often have to re-pierce them when I do want to wear them. I used to dig through and wear all my stuff (mostly costume, although I have a few nice items left to me by my Mum and Grannies) regularly but now, I find it just doesn't occur to me.

Wedding, engagement and eternity rings, 18ct gold, diamond and sapphire set. Right hand gold and diamond ring, 50th birthday present. Dangly 18 ct gold earrings. Left wrist gold, silver and platinum chains - all presents plus 4 rosary linked gemstone bracelets made by me. Right wrist 2 chainmaille bracelets, 1 silver and 1 copper made by me. Necklace gold with solitaire diamond which belonged to my late mum. Phew that’s quite a lot when I’ve reread that! I love jewellery and regularly wear what other people would consider too much, but I don’t care!

Day to day I wear my engagement ring (platinum diamond solitaire). When we get married this year I will also wear my wedding ring (platinum diamond eternity).

A watch (My current favourite is a rose gold bezel with a dark grey face and leather band, from Skagen).

If I’m going out I sometimes wear a necklace and/or nicer earrings, sometimes with a ring or bracelet to match. Things like Georg Jensen, or Monica Vinader.

If I buy any more expensive pieces in future I will probably buy vintage. I’d like a few more rings and maybe some diamond studs.
