I just want a non-padded bra - why is it so difficult!!!!

Been all round usual shops but unless you have biggish tits, all the nice bras I like are padded. It's as if 34B or below isn't considered big enough. I hate padded bras. All the t-shirt bras I used to get in M&S or by Sloggi now have padding of some sort. Don't want to pay a fortune or take a gamble online and it doesn't fit properly. I get so mad when I go in and see bras of all shapes and sizes and colours for every eventuality except just a fecking normal bra in normal colours. Sorry for being boring.

Really. I went bra shopping yesterday and struggled to find anything that was padded.

Sainsburys do some unpadded .

I think it's because it's cheaper to make a pre-moulded bra than one from pieces.

Tesco and Asda do no padding t-shirt bras.

Will try Asda and Tesco then - it's so annoying. Thanks for the tips. I did buy some from Primark but they had no support so even my wee boobies were bouncing around like kids in a ball pit!

Ah thanks for link but I also want just plain ones with no seams - t shirt bras. But they all seem to be padded.

I thought all t shirt bras had a bit of padding so nothing shows through. Non padded ones are lacy types. They look uncomfortable to me.

I'm a 34B. I like the smooth look under my clothes rather than lacey stuff, but I just need the material, not any extra padding or 'smoothing' features. I really don't mind my nips showing through - I don't care. What is annoying is that such bras used to be available easily but now it's not. Asda and Tesco don't look like they have non-padded, smooth t shirt bras. Will have a shifty at Next. M&S might have some but might have to get them online then delivered to shop, certainly had none when I was in.

Thanks Missanoy - I'll check those out but they still say the dreaded word 'smoothing' which would suggest there is a bit more to them than just material. Might be as good as I'm going to get though.

I think the reason they are so prolific is because it's what sells well. I certainly wouldnt wear any other kind.

I know Alexander, I don't like to have my nipples peeping through when I'm cold, perhaps I have overactive nips.

Even harder to find are non-wired bras. You've no hope at all if you want a bra that is neither padded nor underwired.

My trouble is finding good support in smaller sizes! I like those sturdy ones like triumph, but they don't go down to a 30 back. I'm not big, but just because I'm not dealing with huge boobs doesn't mean I want wispy things that have no structure!!

The size isn't the issue - I'm a 34B measured by myself and professionally in two separate shops. It's the style that's the problem. Will investigate the Markies ones though from reading the reviews and description they may still have some sort of padding, albeit very slight to hide the nips I guess.

Non-wired unstructured bras are very in with teens/20s. There might be some at Urban Outfitters, Top Shop & Jack Wills. I think there is a movement away from the push-up look, probably relating to the grunge/early 90s look.

PS I am happy to have nipples too - they are just part of me like kneecaps or nostrils.

Ok, it's just that 34B is the type of size worn by those measured by shops using the old plus 4" method.

I used to wear a 34D. I'm actually a 30FF and there is a lot choice out there.
