Is this dress suitable for a wedding?

Honestly? The second dress is far too frumpy, it really is. It does you no favours. It's not dressy enough for a wedding. And the first dress is a little racey for a wedding.

Can you not buy something, maybe even a nice top to go with trousers you have?

BareBum · 04/08/2017 22:05

The second dress is gorgeous. Very stylish.

YouRat · 04/08/2017 22:06

Second dress looks much nicer on you. Earrings and a necklace you're good to go.

JWrecks · 04/08/2017 22:07

I'd be in the second one every day. Adorable!

Onthemove2 · 04/08/2017 22:07

Second dress with really glam shoes.

Smellbellina · 04/08/2017 22:10

The second dress is awful! And very unweddingy. You have a lovely figure it really doesn't do it justice

Alanna1 · 04/08/2017 22:12

If those are your only two options I'd go for the first, with a cardigan/jacket/wrap for the day.

Fosterdog123 · 04/08/2017 22:23

No to both. First is just, well, no! Second looks like a school run dress. No way is it dressy enough for a wedding. Any other options?

MummyOfTwoxx · 04/08/2017 22:43

I think it's either dress 2 or a last minute dash to find something new. Any other dresses I have are either black, white or cream and not wedding appropriate.

Dress 2.
Hair up.
Statement earrings
Cute clutch and heels!

scotchpie · 04/08/2017 22:52

The first dress is lovely, just add a wrap.

Ojoj1974 · 04/08/2017 22:54

Firstly, you have a cracking figure!!!
Sadly I think neither dresses are quite right. The first is a bit revealing and the second isn't wedding enough.

ConstanceCraving · 04/08/2017 23:01

Love the second one. You look reallly lovely in it and it's very flattering on you ( gorgeous figure )

PsychoPumpkin · 04/08/2017 23:03

It would be great if paired with a short cardi or a pashmina, bit too booby otherwise Grin

ScarletSienna · 04/08/2017 23:07

That second dress looks really classy and amazing on you! You've the perfect figure for it-it doesn't look frumpy or sack like because it hangs right on you.

MargotLovedTom1 · 04/08/2017 23:19

It also looks well above the knee, so not frumpy.

CappuccinoSprinkles · 04/08/2017 23:26

Have you got other belts you could try with the second one? I'm wondering if a smarter belt would lift it a bit.

I also think it is much more acceptable to wear black to a wedding now. Especially if you have colour in accessories.

CatACombs · 04/08/2017 23:27

First one is gorgeous, with short, pale cardie or jacket

ScarletSienna · 04/08/2017 23:41

The first looks a bit see through. May just be the light but that's put me off.

ThinkOfTheHorses · 05/08/2017 00:03

Beautiful and totally appropriate

BackforGood · 05/08/2017 00:10

I'm inclined to agree that neither is quite right.
The first one has too many places where you are showing flesh - low cut and keyhole cut out and high slit up skirt...... maybe with the right jacket ? (but the slit is still there).
The second one doesn't really look 'dressy' enough to me (as you're asking)

NapQueen · 05/08/2017 00:16

Whats the black option?

AmyOb · 05/08/2017 08:46

Both are nice dresses but not for a wedding! Maybe something a bit more elegant in style?

CiderwithBuda · 05/08/2017 08:52

I'm not convinced by either.

The first one has too much going on as others have said. It would be lovely without the cut out bit.

I like the second one but it looks a bit big on you.

TheLuminaries · 05/08/2017 08:56

I would wear dress 2 with a different belt. A sash tie doesn't give enough definition, a wide structured belt in a neutral shade would show off your lovely slim figure & balance the big sleeves.
