I know they're winter coats but I want to buy one now so I have one for the winter (and while it's discounted). I think they're both lovely but I really can't decide on which one is nicer. Both lovely but different stylesSad

Which one do you prefer? Smile

If it helps, it'd be bought in size 12/14 Smile

I much prefer the first one, it's lovely.

Chewbecca · 02/07/2017 20:17

Oh the longer wrap one without a doubt

ShesAStar · 02/07/2017 20:17

I like the first one but both are nice.

ew1990 · 02/07/2017 20:18

The first one

justanotheryoungmother · 02/07/2017 20:19

Including taking size into account will end up buying a 14 due to the baby weight Smile

The first one.

flickerty · 02/07/2017 20:21

First one, no question about it! Gorgeous

MozzchopsThirty · 02/07/2017 20:22

The first one looks like a coat my mother had in the 80s
It's very mumsy

Out of the two I'd go for the second one
But I'm not fussed on either sorry

MozzchopsThirty · 02/07/2017 20:23

No1 also looks like a nana dressing gown

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 02/07/2017 20:26

The longer one. Gorgeous, elegant, will keep your bum toasty. Oh, how I love a good coat. It's the first thing people see as well. *swoon

SingaSong12 · 02/07/2017 20:28

I prefer the look of the first and it looks like would be warmer round the collar area as buttons all the way up. They are both lovely though.

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 02/07/2017 20:28

P.S: I like pea coats /sailor jackets too (ie the shorter one) but prefer them to be classic navy. They are more weekend-y/casual imo. Great with jeans, wellies, woolly jumper.

Whatsforu · 02/07/2017 20:30

Second one. First too much like my grans.

sakura06 · 02/07/2017 20:31

The first one is beautiful!

titsbumfannythelot · 02/07/2017 20:33

I like both but would wear them for different occasions. 1 is smart, 2 more smart casual

DoubleR · 02/07/2017 20:35

The first one, very elegant and a beautiful colour.

PickAChew · 02/07/2017 20:39

The first if you're tall, the second if you're not!

I'd buy the second for myself.

Cakedoesntjudge · 02/07/2017 20:39

I have a black version of the first one and I LOVED it - then I started getting jokey comments off of people at work saying it looked like a dressing gown and now it's ruined it a bit for me and I don't wear it as much!

So if you might be similarly bothered about comments like that (they happen at least once per wear) then that's something to keep in mind!

Tinkhasflown · 02/07/2017 20:40

I'd go for the second one. I always feel like a sack of spuds tied in the middle when wearing a belt tie coat. If you have a bit of a post baby tum like I do, the first coat might highlight it more.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 02/07/2017 22:56

First one

nina2b · 03/07/2017 00:23

Second one - the peacoat.

SomeOtherFuckers · 03/07/2017 00:27

First

SerfTerf · 03/07/2017 00:29

First one.

I agree peacoats are better in navy (or black or charcoal).

ButterfliesandMoths · 03/07/2017 00:42

First one

Smitff · 03/07/2017 01:03

Sorry, neither. First one will end up looking like a dressing gown on anyone who isn't a XXXS, and the second one is lovely but too short. Need me some proper coverage!
