I've sweated in black skinny jeans 😣😣 and a navy vest top.

I NEED summer clothes!

If you get chub rub roll on deodorant is your friend. Roll on really generously before you get dressed, walk around like John Wayne for 5 minutes to let it dry & then put your dress on. I have ginormous thighs & over the years have tried all sorts, the deodorant really does work

I'm a big fan of wearing a really bright strappy top with a black strappy top over the top so some color from the bright top shows around the edges but with the added bonus of black being more slimming than just wearing the bright top.

I didn't explain that very well, but it's too hot to be coherent today!

I am a size 14 and about 5"3 and they are ankle length on me so no issue.

With a white t shirt. I felt pretty cool and comfortable all day.

Next linen dress is quite generous, so might fit big boobs OP. I am a def size 16 but wear a 14 in this dress.
The only thing is that linen has no stretch, so you'd be best to try it on before buying.
It comes in navy, black, white, pink and a print, so if it turns out to be a good look on you, then you can get loads of them

5'2 and size 12-14 here. I wore rolled up jeans and a cotton t-shirt and was too hot.

No idea what I'm going to wear today. I feel fat and horrible in summer clothes, although I do love the sun.

I'm an 18 but wear a 20 in the next linen dress so it skims my lumpy bits and doesn't feel too fitted

Today I wore a vest top, cotton pencil skirt and sandals - looked and felt like my mother!

Now in shorts and a vest, but won't be leaving the house/garden.

Today a long silk maxi skirt from Boden (about 10 years ago) and another white cottony tshirt

I'm 5ft 2 and a size 16. Today I spent the day in my pjs because I was hungover and couldn't be bothered getting dressed. Yesterday I wore navy linen trousers from next and a loose fitting cotton tshirt from Primark.

Tomorrow I'll probably wear something similar but maybe cropped linen trousers instead. It's pretty much what I live in when it's hot.

I've been in some (size 14) cropped jeans from asda about 4 years ago today at the beach (not ideal but better than yesterday)

I ordered some shorts from Dorothy Perkins (ordered 16 and 18) the 18s looked HUGE when I got them out of the packet - they fit me 😢😢😢 I cried.

It's reassuring OP. Loads of us are 16s. And the sky didn't fall down! (Yet) 😎

If they fit and are comfy and NOT HOT I would take that as a win. Ignore the size and enjoy the shorts!

Also today I wore the Next slouchy jersey trousers others have mentioned (no shorts for me as chub rub has sadly attacked) and a very thin black top.

Then ended up having lunch in a very air conditioned restaurant, which was very welcome!
